I'm sorry to rain on people's parade, and Fango I've gotta tell you I'm a big fan of your posts, but I really feel like the picture with the fake black eye doesn't belong here at OCC. I'm 100% for the whole "to each his own" thing, I'm not into pee pics for example, but I welcome their right to be here. Violence against women, however, is a very serious problem and I don't think it's appropriate for us to be trivializing it here. Ultimately that decision is up to Alex and I'll respect his decision either way, I just wanted to voice one opinion that I really don't think that stuff is appropriate in a forum like OCC.

About these photos
 

I just want to say that I found them really hot, not because of violence to women but that they are gothic-style and can represent so much to the person who made them.

I hope that it is make-up in those photos, I looked at them as if it was makeup. If she was really hit, then these photos do absolutely nothoing for me in an artistic sense.

I saw that my comment could be seen in a negative way and I hope I didn't insult anyone. I was enjoying artistic type photos, a bit out of the ordinary I'll admit.

I put this pic in the same category as all dress up-goth-horror-halloween type pics. If both eyes were dark, it would look very gothy but not as if there was a violence against women theme. Her eye looks healthy and is not swollen.
Who can guess what she is trying to say, but I would only object if it appeared it had not been her decision to get painted and pose for the camera.
