Just wanted to share that the I just ended the last chapter on my longest running storyline for my now very elaborate Lauren's Little Secret story over at Chyoa.com I'm very proud of this one, and thankful to the great artists and writers who've contributed. A special thanks to Hambo for co-writing a lot of this rather epic thread. Check it out here:

Also, here's some illustrations by MYDS6 for this storyline, love what he did for it!

A few times I've considered retiring Lauren's Little Secret, but the story keeps getting new contributres and going in new directions. Anyways, there's been some really great storylines lately, check it out:

I hope you NEVER retire Lauren. Surely you learned that lesson when you deleted your story "Nothing to Hide." People were FURIOUS and a valuable story was lost forever. Yes, I do realize that retiring a story at Chyoa isn't the same as deleting a story but the same thing holds true - that new, future storylines of this fabulous character will be lost forever.

So my recommendation - given with all due respect - the next time you even THINK of retiring Lauren just start bashing your head with a rubber baseball bat and saying over and over, "Don't be so daft; Don't be so daft, don't be so daft!" It will save all your fans the trouble of doing it for you. :D

Congrats on probably the most successful story - certainly the LARGEST story Chyoa has ever seen.

Chyoa's largest story? That's news to me!

I'm actually pretty glad I deleted 'Nothing to Hide'. I wish I'd saved more of it (though the archive on here has most of the good threads) but writing.com wasn't the best website and the community of writers to help make it grow just wasn't there at the time. If I hadn't deleted it I probably would have just put more time and energy in it before it died completely. Also, most of the good from that has been added to Lauren's Little Secret, and almost universally improved upon.
The only big regret I have was not giving more notice before I delete it. That was shitty to my fellow writers.

Adventures in ENF has made some awesome Lauren commissions for me. More of these, check them on the CHYOA story, which is still rolling strong!
