How often did you used to go?
Were they more expensive than regular movie theaters?
Did patrons jack off?

I went to one a few times while I was in college in the early 70's. All I really remember was I saw Deepthroat there.
I don't remember anybody jacking off , there weren't many customers . I don't remember any women there at that time.

Then in the later 70's , a country drivein movie outside of town switched to all porn. That was a totally different deal. There were lots of customers and sexy women going to the restrooms and snackbar.

Porn drive in
 

We had a drive-in theater that showed porn only in it's later years, before it closed.
It showed regular movies when I was a kid but changed to porn when I was a teen.
The crazy thing about it was it was located behind a 8-10 floor hotel. Any of the hotel customers on that side got a free show from their window.
