Did member search go away?
 

Unless I'm thinking of another forum, I thought we used to be able to search the OCC community by user name using a link found at the top of the forum. Was that removed? It's a handy feature for looking for new posts by specific users.

You can still use the advanced search to find posts by specific users. If you select posts instead of threads, it should point to that users posts.

True, I have used that. The catch is that sometimes I don't remember the exact name. "Was that LordXXX or L0rdXxXx?" That kind of thing. User searches avoid that issue because you can either browse down an alphabetical list until you find who you're looking for, or use a wildcard in a name search. Anyway, I see there is an auto-complete when typing in a user name on the search page, so that's something. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a user search feature if it was still present.

It was removed from obvious view in an update about a year ago.

Do this:
FAQ -> General Forum Usage -> Members List

The search function is in red.
