req: Get Your Kit Off
 

This was a gameshow on late night channel 4 in the late 90's early 00's.

The basic premise was that you had two teams of studenty couples in each team there was a male and a female. In Team A, the male had to dress the female and vice versa for Team B. At the startr of the show they were told a style of clothing and were sent out into a town at night (Newcastle, Brighton, Manchester, that sort of town). They had no money and the shops wereclosed thye had do convince people to give them their clothes and offewr to do a dare in order to get it (use G-String as tooth floss, kiss ass, etc) at Midnight the two teams would meet back up and an "expert" would decide which person was best dressed. The winning team would get a prize and the losing team would have to strip down to their underwear in the street and make their own way home from there.

I have never seen a video or even a picture of it online.

No one? It seems like that era was good for dare shows etc.

Given that "get your kit off" is a Britishism, I'm guessing UK... where there's an actual channel named Channel 4.

Also Newcastle , Brigton and Manchester are British towns. However I have searched the web and can find no evidence that this show existed. Possibly it was part of another show?

It was called "Get your kit off" and it was on channel 4 in the UK. I remember the idea being great, but the actual programme being rubbish. I have never heard of it since it was taken off the air. This wont help anyone, but just to say that you are looking in the right country and the show was called that. Not sure that even if you find any clips they will be that good. It was fairly tame.
