Media Player 9 Problem
 

All of a sudden, I started having problems with vids in MP9. I downloaded the K-Lite codec pack, so I think I'm fine with codecs.

The vids tend to get a few seconds in, the stop and continue "playing" on a frozen frame. Pausing, moving the cursor, and hitting play advances the video a bit, but then the same thing happens.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone got a fix?

I had a similar problem. Sounds like you might need to upgrade to media player 10 from microsoft.

Ya, it's been my experience that 9 times out of 10, problems with WMP 9 can be fixed by upgrading to WMP 10.

You upgraded to WMP 10 and are still having the problem? Is it with all video's or just some of them?

If it's just select video's, save them to your hard drive, and run GSpot to make sure you have the right codec installed.
