I found this mobile app that aims to be a social medium for college students. It's sort of a farce in that regard, since it has no way of making sure that only college students use it, but I guess just saying so goes a long way toward releasing the inhibitions of actual college students. As social media goes it's not really a very good app, but you can pretty much count on a few partially-to-fully undressed bodies each day, and for the narrow goal of giving people a place to post salacious goods anonymously it works pretty well.

The app displays photos with a watermark that's layered on by the app itself. The original, if you can find it, is bigger, clearer, and watermark-free – which is appropriate since it's a user contribution.

In Er*dr posts and pictures vanish ("erode") over time. If they're upvoted they last longer, and if downvoted they die sooner. There's no quoting or conversation view, and no replying, so a common way to respond to someone is to screencap their post and submit that as a new post. Sometimes these DIY replies last longer than the originals, so a lot of the pics I've obtained only with the watermark, even though an unwatermarked original might still be out there. There's good stuff among these, but in deference to Rule 4 I won't post them.

A lot of these shots are pretty low quality –*most were taken with phone cameras in the app itself, often in low light – but I still appreciate that they're mostly pure self-posts, willingly given to a community of eager peers. There are a lot of themes to these photos. I won't try to categorize, since as new ones come in they're going to blur into a potpourri anyway.

I'm purposely censoring the name of the app to resist anyone finding this post in web search. I don't really want to slow down the stream, and I definitely don't want the app's author to change how I get the originals.
