Ladies and Gents,
Can anyone help me?
Does anyone know who the artist is for this wonderful work of art?

Many thanks in advance....

Hi, it could be from Susannah Martin - have a look at Wikipedia or Google, you will find a lot of similar paintings.
Best, Lassie

Yes, Lassie13, you are absolutely right! It is Susannah Martin! I am forever in your debt! Very many thanks!

FYI - Google Image Search would have given you the answer in less time than it took you to write your post requesting the source...

That depends entirely on whether the image in question is on your computer, or the internet. If it's on the internet, Google Image Search can find it in a heartbeat(sometimes longer). If not, you're pretty much out of luck, unless you load it onto an image site first, many of which won't let an image like that be loaded. It's not as easy as you might think.

You could upload it to google, which takes about the same time as an internet search

The image was uploaded here. I ran a Google Image search and had the answer in seconds, then I scrolled down and found that someone else had already supplied the answer. But also, as the interim poster (post just above this one) noted, you can easily upload any image to Google for purposes of a search, so yes, even if the image you're working with is not already on the net, you can search the web with it/for it.

Now the OP knows of Google Search. And you learned something here too - enjoy going forward!

I didn't know that either. Thanks.

However, this thread needs less talk and more pix. ;)
