Android search issue
 

When I try to use search on my phone or tablet the search box pops up. Then if I touch in the search field to get the keyboard up it appears briefly then both the keyboad and the search popup disappear.

For obvious reasons I have not searched if there is a solution for this.

Anyone got anyhelp for me.

I had the same problem. When using a phone or tablet, I always click on advance search. When you hit search, instead of using the search bar, go to advance search right underneath it. It opens up another window where it is easier to search. The keyboard on your phone or tablet won't disappear.
