What about adding an off-topic section?

Every now and then I come up with something that's amusing or interesting, but that doesn't really fit anywhere (and I'd assume others do as well).

This topic has come up before. Since my feelings on the matter haven't changed, I'll let you read my response in this thread, rather than typing it out again.
