Freemake converter question
 

Hi
I am trying to re-combine videos that I get here (which is simply the most amazing place I have ever been) without losing quality or altering the size much. I am experimenting with Freemake. The videos come out around 10 times the size when I set it to use the same settings as the original. I am afraid that dropping the qualities below original will make a difference('specially in the still frames and slo mo (grins). Has anyone figured out the best settings?

use formatfactory.
you can choose small medium or large or even go into detail with encoding.
its free and will handle all formats.
