File Hosts
 

Is there some way of stopping people using certain 'useless' file hosts on the thread that used to be 'Rapidshare' only, in the good old days. I used to upload my stuff to a site that gave several hosts, but site like 'data file' and Uploaded allow only one file a day and often drop out on bigger files. For videos (like the ones 'zloy' is posting at present at 1 gig and four parts), they are impossible to DL.

Zippyshare (favoured by people like Fango) is super fast and has no awful catcha to solve, could we suggest that as a possible approved file..

We've been discussing making the Multiupload and Rapidshare Files section obsolete. Which means the Free Sites section will be used for file hosting links as well. Once this happens we'll probably end up creating a sticky thread with acceptable file sharing sites and update it when other sites are discovered or the older ones become less user friendly. When that happens, the list would apply to other parts of the forum as well. So yeah, just hang tight on this, it's in the works to happen soon.

Not the same thing. Those are video sites, not file hosting sites like Zippyshare or Mirrorcreator.
