Unzipping files in Windows 8
 

I have a new computer with Windows 8 installed and I am having a problem unzipping files. I never had this problem with XP or other operating systems. I never had to purchase a program such as winzip or an app before to unzip files. Any suggestions?

I have windows 8 , when i click on the zipped file a tap shows up on the top of the page that says "extract files" once you click on that its easy

also by right clicking on the zipped file one of the options that comes up is "extract all'

I still cannot get it to work. When I click on the zip file, a box opens at bottom and asks me what I want to do. If I click open, another box opens and tries to sell me an App. If I right click the box that pops up does not have "extract all" as an option. Seems to me that Windows 8 is bullshit and more complicated than it has to be. I should not have to buy an app or a program when I have never had to with any other operating system I have had in the past.
