Question...
What is a good photo editing software that is good and fairly easy to use? I have many photos I can share but I need to be able to block out faces and perhaps a tat or too.

If you are on a P/C, "Irfan view" is good and free. But if you have a PC, you already have paint installed and paint will edit photos. If you're on a MAC someone else will have to recommend something. Mudbug |
Pixlr
I normally use an old version of Photoshop, but I've used Pixlr free online and it's very similar so should do everything you want.

Here's one that I have used. It's free but it is so good, I have since donated to the project. It is PC based.

I use a couple different ones.
MS Paint works great for blurring faces and other identifiable details. When you select 'file' 'save as' you can change format to JPEG or whatever you prefer. For cropping, I use one called Photopad from NCH. It has some effects too but I haven't had much use for them.
I still use Windows Moviemaker for video editing but it only works with certain formats. To convert, I use Prism Video converter from the same company. They offer free demos of their software but after clicking through and declining a few times, they stop bugging you to buy and let you keep the trial version. They aren't full function but they work well enough that I've considered purchasing the full version of both. Here's a link to their site. http://www.nchsoftware.com/software/index.html |
