Seen this kind of pic before, i belive there called posture pictures and are med school student's

The pics above aren't it....but I have heard of what you are talking about.

I always thought it was kind of like Urband Legend that they use to make the freshmans take these
"so-called" profile pics when coming in to one of the Ivy League schools. (forgot which one)
I had read about it an article and it was legit too....and used for some kind of profiling.
The big thing is that some of the celebrities out there and some news people (anchor,reporters etc.) who had attended the college had tried to make them not accessible....Diane Sawyer being one of the latest.
They have since stopped the unusual profile photos...but then again maybe Akira Gomi is the one who took those pictures and now has published them.....hence why the pics above seem older telling by their fashion wardrobe.

Yep they're Akria Gomi from his La series. He has various series some of Japenese women, some of Chinese. I was told they were to mimic posture series from some Ivy League school from 30s, 40s and 50s.
