2012 Lawsuit involving ENF Waiting to Happen
Being the somewhat heartless and unsympathetic bastard that I am, when I read about this my first reaction was "lol What balls on the manager! I have to admire that level of creative sleaze!" as opposed to "tsk tsk those poor girls".
A former waitress for a bar in Westwood, California, sued her former employer for, among other things, sexual harassment. The bar owner was alleged to have planned some changes in the bar, essentially making it an ENF/EUF trap for their waitresses worthy of a 1980s sex comedy. Here are the details: 1) Change the dress codes to require all waitresses to wear super-short plaid, pleated miniskirts. Miniskirts that were wraparound. And secured only by a single strip of velcro. NBC 4 Los Angeles, June 27, 2012: Former Restaurant Employee "Appalled, Offended" By Skimpy Uniform It gets better: 2) Place fans along the floor near the register, to blow up the new skirts of the waitresses ala Marilyn Monroe. The dress code requirement was supposedly dropped shortly after she filed a written complaint with the owner prior to the lawsuit. This setup is an ENF story or video just waiting to happen. Or even real life. If you can find enough hot women willing to try it, I think a bar where the waitresses skirts have a reputation of suddenly flying up or flying off at any given moment could become very popular. :D |
The Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, AZ (apparently now in Las Vegas) had the "nurse" waitresses wearing short skirts. Behind the bar were angled mirrors so you would see up their skirts. The full-sugar Cokes were kept in a cooler on the floor so they would have to bend over (at the waist) to get them. It was part of the entertainment and I'm sure all employees were aware of that before hiring.
