Pic Removal, Single pic vs. Whole Post

How come sometimes a single pic is removed (Pro, watermarked - whatever) and sometimes a whole post is deleted?
If the whole post is deleted there's no explanation - making it very confusing

Most of what you're posting is watermarked, pro and copyrighted material. I sent you a private message about this a while back, but it doesn't seem to have stopped you. Please consider this your second warning. If you continue to post watermarked, pro and copyrighted pics, you will be banned.

Quote:

4. DO NOT post or request photos & videos that are watermarked with another website's name or URL.
6. DO NOT post or request any copyrighted material without the consent of the owner.
7. Please don't post material taken from adult magazines, professional porn movies, or pay sites. Not even their free samples.

I just REALLY, REALLY don't get it!
You didn't answer the q. - You have the stick you wield it as you want

My q. was a generic one. I didn't mention me, mine or I.

But yes I had 5 posts totally deleted. Say 30 pics. I know it is impossible for all of these to be w/m or c/p or Pro because I persoanlly took 2 of them - BUT the whole post was deleted - hence my q.
Mods frequently - and rightly - quote the rules but at the end of the rules is a sentence about being supportive - Apart from Mudbug I haven't encountered that yet.

I have never intentional broken the rules. Over the past few weeks I have never posted a w/m pic because I double check before posting and then - horror - you would notice how many posts have a Last Edited by _ _ _ tag because on triple checking I find I've missed a w/m.
Pro Pics we have had a discussion on which and again I've never knowingly posted adult mags/porn site shots. I don't subscibe - or look at -femjoy, 17, (I'm strugglingly for site names) etc. but am expected to know what these sites offer as freebies.
I spent an hour today trawling and found so many posts that were Pro or w/m'd and I'll mention names, Stef, Aengus, Osreb,Burn they are leading posters but they seem to get away with it.

ok YOU are not happy (and if I was a prick would I careHere's the good news - I won't post again - tell me how I quit and how I get all my posts deleted

You do a good and thankless job (and you seem to want o perpeeetuate that)
No hard feleings buddy

I will try this short answer,
we mods do this as a hobby, and do not spend all our time online.
we have many posts to keep an eye on, along with other things, like reported posts and complaint to posts.
We all try out best to keep the posts within the rules, but it can be difficult.
One of the main rules for posting on OCC, is, if your not sure about a photo or video, then don;t post it.
We do try and send out messages to explain why something was removed, but sometimes, we just don;t have the time.

In addition to reading and following the RULES... It is also
very important to read the "Sticky" NOTES at the top of
each Forum.

This is the last sentence:

Up until now, we have been very generous about editing people's threads for them. From now on if a single photo or video breaks the rules, we may delete the entire post or thread without notice.
