Always loved the way she looked.

Visit in the 1980's
One of our clients had Annette in to sign autographs and visit with his management. She wore a knit dress that had 3/4 inch holes in the knit, wearing a body stocking under it. The illusion was that she was nude under the dress, and if you stared hard enough---and I did-----I thought you could see a touch of dark pubic hair. I know it was wishful thinking, but she was always a fantasy of mine.

Who needs to see her nude when you could see her like this.

Adolescent heart throbs!
Annette, Angela Cartwright (Lost in Space) and Gloria Winters (Sky King). Pam Dawber did not a nice job in early adulthood. Barbara Eden was old enough to have been my mother... and that would have made me a muthaflkr in the first degree!!

Annette with a client
The time Annette wore the knit dress that had large holes in the knit was when a company in North Carolina licensed the Disney cartoon characters to put on lamps, wall decor, and kid's furniture like bunk beds and I believe the year was 1982. The company that licensed the use of the cartoon characters was named Lea. I think it is still around. I only remember one item as being really different and that was a 5 foot tall Goofy statue holding a cloth bag for kids to throw toys or clothes into.
I would not have gone to see this line but they were advertising Annette would be there. It was a mob, but how often do you get to see your childhood dreamgirl? She was very quiet, beautiful and so graceful. She visited patiently with a lot of people and signed some autographs. She was there for about two hours, if I remember correctly. My contact at Lea told me she flew in and out on the same day, and they had to pay extra to get Annette to appear in person. |
