has anyone been following this? i won't go into detail, i'll just post the articles that i've read. the first one is from last week talking about plans for the event. the second talks about the turnout and vaguely describes how it went with breif mention of sex and nudity. i'm just wondering if anyone has read anything else about it, or if anyone who attended has posted a blog, forum post, etc.

has anyone here ever been to the Oasis Aqua Lounge? i think i'd like to check it out if i'm ever in toronto again.

So did the kids find out that sex is like what they were taught by their sex education teachers? That its all a big communal gropefest? Were they asked to take notes, too, and give presentations in class the next day on what they saw?

I'm all for field trips but this is a bit ridiculous.

Plus its hard to hold a pencil with lube all over your fingers...:)

i've read so many strange things on this forum, i'm surprised the only comment this article gets is calling it ridiculous. it wasn't a field trip. it wasn't for a class. it was done as part of sexual awareness week.

don't be upset - I didn't mean to put this down. Its definitely newsworthy and it deserved to get posted. So thanks for that. I was just trying to have fun with it, but it came off sounding negative, I guess. Sometimes though, I do react to situations where there may be some hypocrisy regarding motives etc. And so regardless of whether or not this was for was a class (it wasn't) it still reminds me of how some parents still send their sons off to see a hooker to teach them about the facts of life..

I really love this - thanks for posting. I keep hoping someone will uncover more details to the story. While I think pictures are extremely unlikely, I would love to stumble across a blog posting of someone who participated with some details of what went on inside. The media articles are very high level. Maybe we can hope that an attractive female journalist decided to do some investigative reporting. ;)

Kolondike, thanks for clearing that up. i agree it's weird for a university to be associated with that kind of event, and i don't know about their motives or how educating this actually was. this event does seem unnecessary to teach sex ed, but as a student i would've loved this.

babesofcollege, that's exactly what i'm looking for. honestly, i hope no pictures of this come out. it would turn a positive experience into a very negative one for the people involved, especially since it is getting so much media attention. i just want to hear more detail of what happened inside. i tried searching a couple days after it, but now that some time has passed it might be easier to find. i'm hoping someone here is better at finding stuff than i am.

I think you will find more nudity and sex in the SexPowerGod party held at Brown every year honestly, few photos of that are online though
