Realplayer problem
I use Realplayer to download clips from Youtube, Dailymotion and other sites and it's worked fine until yesterday.
Now it will only download from Youtube and no-one else. Any ideas why it should have stopped downloading from other sites - and how do I sort out the problem? Any help appreciated. |
Yes - have deleted the original version and replaced with the latest version.
It now downloads about 0.6mb of the clips on Dailymotion but not the full clips. Perculiar! |
video downloader addon for firefox, has also stop working on dailymotion, so i guess it is a change in their site, rather than your player.

I had the same problem with realplayer (I use google), so I went to their help page and it said there was a "fix", tried that and it didn't work, their final solution was to use "Internet explorer" it now works perfectly, so if I want to download any film I use "IE", sorted, good luck ;)

Thanks for all the helpful replies.
bigalw - the Realplayer Downloader, in Preferances - Download & Recording, is already set on Windows IE 9.00 and Google Chrome 23.0 but I'm still getting only a short download of around 0.5mb on every Dailymotion video. Any more ideas please? |
yep, so was mine, but if you close google and open IE, then goto "the site ??" you want to download from and then try it, mine worked first time and every time since, its a problem with the realpayer ??
