naked in israel - Pashut, Boombamela, naturists, etc
 

think of Israel as like one giant beach. I mean, its just sand right? Anyway, while trying to reconstruct my festival nudity folders which got trashed accidentally (with another copy on a hard drive I can't access right now), I ran across these pics below from the Pashut Festival in Israel. Crispus posted some pics from this event in my naturist thread a few years ago, which is billed as a "naked festival". Well, whenever you say the words "naked festival", I just have to know more. But so far, the pics have been a little less than satisfactory. So, I thought I would start this thread to see what I could draw out. I mean, my last attempt at this (nude beaches in australia) worked really well. And here, with there being a language translation issue, I figure maybe some guys out there can really give me some help. I have occasionally been to Israeli naturist pages and there is a lot of stuff happening in that little country. A quick search of OCC found a few more pics, and references to festivals like Boombamela and Beresheet which I knew about. Funny though, but while trying to track down pics from these festivals which I remember having, nothing much is coming up in Google now. This is sad and a constant reminder that pics are continually being pulled off the net. So, without any further ado, I will post pics from Pashut that I found today, a few pics from other threads here and a link or two.
Then I will see what others can drum up. For a country that is one giant beach, you would think that there would be a lot of stuff. But maybe thats just my strange, twisted logic. Saudi Arabia is also one giant beach but we don't get many pics from there....

these were posted by Crispus - Pashut again. He found them in a picasaweb gallery which doesn't seem to be up anymore (there go those pics again...)

From what is up from this festival so far, one can certainly say that it is naked, but I'm not getting any sense for the size and numbers here. It could be a very small event. But these are just body painting shots mostly. Its like posting pics from the Fremont body painting party and trying to guess what the entire solstice parade is like from that. Where are the pics of the grounds/booths/music/people milling about etc?

A few pics from Boombamela and Beresheet, two Israeli festival that have nudity. Some reposts, some new. but there is a lot more out there. I know, because I remember seeing them.

There are a lot more pics that go with pic 4 (boombamela) but I lost the OCC link. EDIT: the pics are in the link I posted in post #1). Anyway, they are quite well known.
Searching "boombamela" on OCC though doesn't turn up much else, and there is no single thread. But with us not being able to post burning man pics, well......I'll take what I can get..

Also, there was a Tunick Shoot in Israel, and who knows, it might have even taken place at one of these festivals.

I had though that perhaps the group Boombamela posing was from a tunic shoot, but no, they were taken in 2003 by another photog. here are a couple (unposted elsewhere?) pics from that. Klondike
