Declining number of 'Thanks'...
 

Question on 'Thanks', I am not complaining:rolleyes:, just curious.....my recieved 'Thanks' were about 4 away from 88,000 two days ago, yesterday it went to 43 away and this morning almost 200 away!

Have we got 'Thanks' termites or are some members going back and removing them faster than those giving them??? Odd!

You probably had some "Thanks" in threads (or individual posts) that were deleted in the past. The "Thanks" counters do not automatically get recalculated when posts are deleted. However, once a year or so we go through and clean things up and the "Thanks" counters get recalculated correctly.

As you might have guessed, we've started our "Spring Cleaning". ;)

Some people might still see a small diminish of their "Thanks" as we continue to clean up old deleted posts over the next couple of weeks.

Why not make them permanent like the visitor counter?
I've yet to figure the need for a "thank you" remover.

That would mean that they have thanked a post that is no longer avaible for what ever reason it was removed.

The "thank you remover" is there for if you ever accidentally click "Thanks" on a post you didn't mean to (hey, it's happened to me several times :o).

Perhaps, it's getting time to earn myself some more! Yesterday in a beachfront bar I spied two teen girls topless on a very public beach:D, the summer is almost apon us!!

i probably click 'thanks' more than ever. Can't say i've ever removed one!
