One Saturday afternoon in the middle of the summer I went there with some friends wearing a strapless long summer dress, held up by that elasticised material over the chest. I went inside to get the drinks and was carrying a tray back outside with two teapots and assorted cups/cans.

As you leave the restaurant to go on to terrace there is a large step up in the door way. Taking this step up I unknowingly stood on the hem of my dress. The combination of this and the lack of straps meant that as I stepped forward the dress was suddenly around my waist (no bra) and I was stood bare chested holding the tray in front of me with the 2 teapots barely hiding anything (it looked , I found out later like a Benny hill sketch).

I was left marooned, with no way of stepping forward or backwards off the step and unable to put the tray anywhere to rescue my dress. Thanks to the height of the step the whole terrace got an eye full. Eventually one of my friends stopped laughing long enough to pick herself up off the floor and come to my rescue.
