Smear test in UK
 

Hi all,

I find exposure a turn on and that includes in the medical setting. In the UK we have cervical smear tests every 3 years and consist of lying on a couch, legs apart with a nurse putting a speculum into the vagina and taking the smear. Up to now most of the nurses I have had have been over 50 and it has been the exposure that I have found arousing and always after the event. Don't actually find the exam itself being opened up with a speculum, though the labia spreading is not too bad, really a turn on just the undressing and being asked to open my legs while a stranger has a good look. This changed recently with my last smear as for the first time had a nurse who was younger than me. I have posted the experience below. Hope you are interested it. I would love to hear from other women particularly British about their smear experiences and whether they find it a little bit of a turn on.

I was sitting in the GPs surgery waiting for my name to be called and as usual for a smear test was wearing a full, quite long (below knee but above ankles) skirt to make the whole process a little easier. I knew it was a new nurse as the old nurse had indicated she was leaving when I had my flu jab earlier in the year. After about 10 minutes my name was called by the nurse, a tall women in her early 30’s, long red hair tied back dressed in a white blouse, black just above the knee skirt, black tights and flat black shoes. I followed her back into her room and could not help but notice the skirt was quite tight around the bum and that she had quite a nice rear. Once in her room I sat down while she locked the door and then sat across from me knees almost touching mine. She confirmed my name and that I was there for a smear test. She seemed a little nervous and was very deliberate in all the questions she asked me as if she had not been doing smears for very long. Once she had introduced herself to me as Maria, it was the usual questions my full name and address, when my last period was, what birth control I use, etc. Then she asked me if I was ready for her to take my smear, I replied yes please (please for some reason which I cannot fathom).
She then asked me to go behind the curtain and to ‘Slip my knickers off and lie up on the couch’. I went off behind the curtain where there was the usual couch, slipped off my shoes and put them under the chair next to the couch and hiked up the skirt, hooked my fingers in the waistband of my white very sensible knickers and slid them down the legs and off. Always used to find it difficult to know where to put them so as for the nurse not to see but then finally realised one day that if I did not leave them on chair nurse could assume I was not wearing any. Anyway once knickers were on chair I got up onto the couch and lay down. In previous smears there was always a sheet on the couch ready to put over and I sort of hitched up the skirt and put the sheet over ready for nurse. No sheet this time until the nurse asked if I was ready and when I said yes then she drew back the curtain and came around it carrying the sheet. Then unusually she helped me onto position rather than actually asking me to do it. She said ok lets hitch the skirt up to top of your legs please, which she then helped me do with me flashing her a quick shot of my vagina before she put the sheet over my legs. Then she switched on the light at the end of the couch and positioned it initially before coming back to me and saying ‘Ok Lisa I need you to bend your knees for me and place your feet flat on the couch close to your bottom’ which I then did, she then moved the light a bit more before saying ‘Ok now let your knees fall to the sides please and place the soles of your feet together’ this was first time for me in this position though have seen it on TV now with the older nurses it was just feet flat on couch knees flopped open but now it was soles of feet together which does seem to open you more. Once I was in position she pulled the sheet up my legs leaving them bare until she had basically exposed my vagina (freshly trimmed and ready to go) before turning on the light and making sure it shone in the right place.
Then she turned away leaving me on couch legs well spread and labia slightly apart as they always do in that position. This was also a little unusual as normally my other nurses have been gloved up and ready when I got into position so it was all over very quickly, this was taking a lot longer. She then came back with a trolley on wheels and then put her gloves on right where I could see while talking to me about mild winter etc, have never been keen on small talk during these sort of exams but they all seem to do it. Once she was gloved she showed me the speculum and explained she would be parting my labia and slipping the speculum inside me, telling me there was lubricant on it so it would not hurt but may be a little uncomfortable. She then commenced to lean over the couch between my legs and as I glanced down could not help but see down her blouse at the white rather lacy bra she had on. Now as I said I find exposure arousing and as a result smear tests after the event are a bit of a turn on, as I think back to stripping off and opening legs but the actual test itself not really arousing until this time. The fact the nurse was younger than me and the fact she was quite attractive did come to mind and then with the bra started to feel a little warm. Now as for the smear test itself up to now always been fingers on labia, you feel them being parted and the speculum sliding in opening and then the nurse saying just relax you will feel me take the cells now, of I am removing the speculum and you are all done, as she takes off gloves and tells me to get dressed as she disappears back behind the curtain.
Not quite the same this time, the nurse told me I was going to feel her touch me and next thing I felt were her fingers against my labia, not spreading straight away but sort of brushing them from bottom to top before I felt them being spread and then being hit by the cool air. Now I thought I was going red and for sure thought that I was feeling a little warm downstairs. Then I felt the speculum being slid into my vagina and being opened, which from then on was the usual sc**** of cells which you feel before she said ok that’s it. Again I felt her spread my labia and slide the speculum out dropping it into the dish.
Now usually at this point the nurse has said ok all done you can get dressed and almost runs off behind the curtain. Not this time nurse then looks at me full in face which I am sure is red at this point, and with my feet still together and everything on show she pulled the sheet down to cover me and then says everything looks very pink and healthy and that the sample will be sent off and I will get the results back in 3 weeks or so, this bit was usually done when dressed and as leaving not half naked legs apart. Looking at her face and glancing at her breasts I could feel more heat between legs and was willing this to be over as I thought I was getting seriously aroused. She then finished with ok you can get dressed now there are some tissues there if you need them. She walked back to her desk pulling the curtain closed behind her, while I straighten my legs and hopped off the couch. I picked my knickers up from the chair and put them on again skirt hiking up as I did so, straightened myself up before walking back around the curtain. Nurse looked up and asked if I was ok and then said ok thank you stood up and unlocked the door, she shook my hand as I left and could not help thinking where that hand had been a scant 2 minutes previously before I left the surgery thinking everyone was looking at me and knew why I had been there and what I was thinking.
As usual when I get home from a smear I take a shower and before that I do masturbate thinking back to the exposure of the test and not usually the nurse, as they have always been over 50 with a mustache. This time could not help but think about the nurse and the touching etc, a new experience for me and cannot wait for 3 years to be up to go again. I am hoping it is same nurse. It had to happen I am in my 40’s (early 40’s) and this is first time I have been examined by anyone in the medical profession who is younger than me but going to happen a lot now. Will be interesting.
