I love stumbling across new public nudity events. This one got me excited enough to devote a thread to it, even though I don't have a lot of pics to add yet. I'd have more, except my screen grab feature clunked out on me over at flickr where 75% of the pics are disabled. Maybe I can get some help there...

Anyway, the festival is called Mil Tambores and it takes place in Chile. Its new to me and is said to be about 10 years old. Basically, its a street festival featuring young topless, body painted girls. Is it strictly a bodyart festival? From the description here:

it doesn't sound like it. But obviously, it does feature copious numbers of topless females, all young and very pretty. That leads me to wonder if they are models rather than just participants. But I don't know. So yeah, I'm just learning about this and would like to see more info and pics. It certainly looks well attended, and these types of festivals are not that common around the world. The Ukrainian Bodyart festival comes to mind, but other than that...? So, but this is very cool and sort of like Fremont to me only down under and topless only. Nice going, Chile!
Its said the party gets wilder each year, so keep an eye out for more pics. This one is so easy to search on - instantly you get lots of topless nudity.

A search over at Flickr will turn up many more pics. Also, google it. A couple more, then its off to hunt for more.

I think this is a significant event - we're talking about LOTS of young girls here, all pretty and all on display in front of large urban crowds. I don't know of too many events like it. And generally in this type of environment, there are LOTS of pics too!

If you use Google Chrome, there's a great extension called DownFlickr. It downloads any Flickr pic. If you don't use Chrome, it might be worth it to download just for that.

Meanwhile, found a few more not disabled. LOTS of pretty girls here - I just love seeing so many girls so at ease with the toplessness in such a busy area. Add music and jiggling and.....(just go to youtube - I am sure there are some vids with sound too!).

So yeah, these girls are dancing and smiling and oh so topless. Its a topless Rio Carnival except in broad daylight with every day girls, school girls. Gotta love it!

Also associated with this event is another search term you could try: "querpos pintados" which I gather relates to bodypainting in general. Searching on that brought up these pics, also from Chile, even more exciting than the above. These are NOT from Mil Tambores, but from a recent protest in Santiago. lets get more pics of this up too!

OK, here is a pic I can post showing full nudity at Mil tambores. Now I don't know about you, but I think that really helps put this event on the map. I looked at a lot of pics in the beginning and all I saw was toplessness. BUt now - can you argue with creating a whole thread for this? Lets keep finding pics...
