I agree that you shouldn't pile on with negative comments, but I understand where the bad comments are coming from.

It's seems to be for the most part out of concern for the girl's health. A girl walking around naked in public is exciting. A girl that looks like she is either starving or purging ... not so great.

Hell, most of the time people complain about guys saying girls are too fat.
