Question to the Mods. . .

I have seen that some photos are removed and it is noted;

***** Watermarked Photo Removed ******

And I recently had one of my postings removed for that reason. How do you check, or better yet, what do you use to check if there is a watermark in the photo? If I ( and others) could check before we uploaded,( and found a photo watermarked and then NOT upload it ) . . . it would stop you from having to remove the photos.

You don't need any special tools, just your eyes. ;)

All you need to do is look at the photo before posting.

Look for text written on the photo. If there is text with the name of a website or the URL of a website, the photo is watermarked and may not be posted here.

Duhhhhhhh, gotcha ! I thought you ment a "real" water mark,( Like in paper ) and yes I see that I missed the URL text. Sorry. Will try to be more observent next time
