sl*twalk Toronto

Last weekend in Toronto they had a "sl*twalk". It was a protest about some comments that a police officer made. I took some photos, and I have seen a few on some blogs, I was surprised not to see any here yet. This is Toni, I have posted various photos of her here in the past. Now she has opened a business, Oasis Aqualounge, which she is eager to promote, one way that she is doing that is by going out nude in public. The reporters that cover the events seem to gravitate towards her for some reason. So I expect that I will have more to post over the summer. If anyone has any other good sl*tWalk photos I would love to see them. There were about 1,500 sl*ts in the walk.

interesting. Is this really a protest? Or maybe Toronto's version of a Folsom Street Fair type event or something? Haven't heard of it before. I'd be interested to see more pics!

thanks,

Klondike

The "sl*t walk" is in response to a ruling in a recent Canadian **** case. The judge was lenient in the case because he said that sex was in the air and the victim was dressed like a sl*t. Women's groups responded with the "sl*t walk" to demonstrate that women should not be abused regardless of how they dress. I believe that in this case they are absolutely correct.

PS: I just posted this and it came up with certain words censored. The court case indicated as **** in the post was about non-consentual sex.

yeah, so I guessed. Anyway, the first pic is really funny because all of the passerby's look so bored and don't even seem to be taking the slightest interest in the nudity. I'd be like - OMG, where is my camera!

thanks,

Dallas too?

Apparently there was a sl*twalk planned for Dallas TX too. See this site: hxxp://hayladies.wordpress.com/
The article is dated 22 April, and says the demonstration will be tomorrow (23 April).

Yeah. I think there are various Facebook groups and some blogs that are running with the whole "sl*twalk" theme in various cities. I love public nudity/exibitionism. It's sexy and empowering and that is great! There's nothing wrong with being turned on by nudity but you have to remain respectful and should never take advantage of someone else. That's just wrong in my opinion. I just hope the main issue behind "sl*twalk" isn't being lost. That would be a shame. Women (or men) should be able to dress or act "sexy" without fearing that they are inviting someone to take advantage of them because they express their sexuality.

Thanks to charly07, for the pictures (see - and do please thank if you enjoy - the post this one orphaned, on previous page) as well as the search term suggestion: here three more from our not-so-blushing bride, the latter two providing "a-nether" view; finally, the FFF contingent, erm, hanging out there...
