Firefox question
 

when i post the attatchment window is now sorted by modified, how do I put it back to sort by name which it has always been. I didnt do anything in my browser to get it to sort by modified, I only sorted a windows folder by modified so I dont know what to do and it is a pain in the ass for posting now..

i just tried to use explorer and its the same

This is a Windows-explorer setting, not FF or IE. If you right-click in the file upload window, you should be able to select "sort by".

yeah that works but then when I try to up-load the next attatchment it sorts it by modified again

open your folder, and selct how you want that folder organised. then click tools at the top and then folder options.
click the view tab, then click apply to all folders. Once you have done this, all folder should be set as the same, but if you manually alter one, then that particular one should be set for how you change it.
This setting should then show when you browse tp upload attatchments,

that seemed to fix it, thanks celeb peeper. The weirdest thing is that all my folders were sorted the way I want them its just when I opened them to up an attatchment is when they were sorted wrong, thanks for the help

I am so glad, someone brought this up. I have been having the same problems and it was literally a pain in the lower human anatomy, but this little trick seemed to help. Thanks.
