Whatever happened to Captainquixote?
 

Captainquixote's stories were some of my favorites on this site, but almost all trace of them here has disappeared. For a while some were accessible on deviantart, but now even those posts are gone!

I've only been able to find 2 Captainquixote stories on the asn board(mischievous breeze & sports reporter).

Does anybody know what happened to this once great writer or where the stories can be found now?

I just used google but found out that his work has been deleted from both sites, it was working a couple months back.

He was one of my all time favorite writers, and he was a very nice person too. I hope we'll find out why and maybe that he'll come back someday. Great person to have in the community.

I’m not sure what happened to his previous stories. I do remember him saying he had to stop writing new ones because of some medical condition. I believe it was severe arthritis but not positive. As for his old stories some of them can be found here.

Hmm. . . someone should save his stories in case they are deleted for some reason. It would be such a shame if his work was lost to the ages- it would be like losing a Renaissance painting or a marble statue!

Already done, I think I have most of them downloaded and copied. I personnally like to reread them from time to time. :D

Does anyone, by any chance, have the rest of Grover's Paradise saved? The link posted above only features the first two chapters, and I already have those and chapter 3 (Luke the Waiter) on my computer. There were a lot of great follow-ups that I've been unable to find on the internet anymore, and they're not on the wayback machine, either. Links, or a post, anyone? You'd be doing the world a solid making sure CaptainQuixote's great work is still available to the masses. I could repost Luke the Waiter too if nobody's got that.

I’ve got copies of The Breeze And The Parade and The Breeze And The Carnival. They don’t appear to be part of that archive. Ought I post them?

That isn't allowed but if people pm you and you send them to the person, that is allowed. You have to have the permission of the author to post them.
