I got a citation today at the lake for being naked
 

Even though I was actually wearing a bathing suit a ranger retaliated against me (because I filed a complaint against his misconduct 2 days prior) and called the police. I was practically alone at the lake with my 3 kids and these 3 cops showed up and gave me a citation for being naked. I asked them how they can do that considering I wasn't even naked. They showed me the rules of the park that said that "buttocks" are not allowed to be shown. I told them that according to these rules almost all the women on the beach should be arrsted because I guarantee you their buttocks were showing unless they were dressed in Charlie Chaplin style bathing suits.

It's interesting that the same ranger had asked me out before and I turned him down (very politely) but he didn't take it lightly. I emailed the management of the lake tonight and told them how ridiculous their staff behavior was and I also told them that in the morning I would be calling a sexual harassment lawyer, that their bull shit will not slide this time.

Unless you were wearing a thong, I don't understand how they could arrest you for showing buttocks? How conservative are those park rules anyway? :(

As for the citation - what a load of sanctimonious crap! You can't show buttocks - damn & I thought our laws were draconian. I admire your fight - let us know how it turns out.

Am I missing something because i did not know that you, Gypsy, are an OCC member. You are a hero in my book and I have posted many pics of you and your friends out and about in the Bay Area. To be perfectly honest, it thrills be to death anytime you folks on the "other side" poke your head in here. I see you have been a member since 2008 which is longer than I have known about you, but you have not posted much. Please - more pics, more info and tell your friends about us too!

And as for your mishap with the park rangers - it would seem to be jealousy at work here. You ought to be able to fight it and win. This should not be tolerated...

Your shows are very liberating and interesting. But besides that, this is a slamdunk win for you. The NAC would be a good resource to call on. Don't cop to a plea deal. In some areas, "public nudity" = "public lewdness" = "sex offender registry".

Why on earth would anyone object to your beautiful naked body?

- I think you have backed into (pun intended) an excellent opportunity to promote your entrepreneurial enterprise.
I also think our initial effort towards that end have begun to bear fruit.

Look at the number of responses already. One fan has even suggested raising funds to give to you.

Rangers are not cops but they can give out bogus citations which reminds us of their cousins in blue. I know many Rangers, all of which are cool. Guess you really broke his heart =P

It's the Naturist Action committee. They are the legal arm of the The Naturist Society, and can provide legal resources to people who have been prosecuted similar to you.

Basically, they have all kinds of legal research you can use to file a motion to dismiss for the matter. Usually, cops can't be the person "offended" by public nudity, if no one else is there, and there is no lewd or lascivious behavior, you can't get in trouble for simply being naked - and since you were wearing a bathing suit, the cop shouldn't have been able to make any complaint.

Again, you a truly beautiful person, and I hope your message of naked tolerance might start to make some changes in our repressed puritan society!

Tell your photographer to use a bit more light. Images come out a bit dark. It doens't look like an "effect" setting with light, so show your stuff.

Very cool to see you here. You remind me so much of the nudists/naturists I hung out with a few years back. Fearless, experimental, and not afraid to be in the vanguard of trying something new. And as a bonus, you have a terrific, athletic physique.

This could also be a civil liberties matter - you should at least discuss this with the ACLU (only if you are in the US, obviously).
