I have some great new footage from the water park at cedar point ( a lot from the water slide section ) with some great tops coming off and slips from tops and bottoms.

Here is the problem, i recorded about 4 hours of footage with my Flip ultra HD camcorder but the files are soo big i cannot upload them, i need to convert the files which are mpeg4 HD to mpeg2 but i cannot find out a way to do this for free that will work

I use OjoSoft Total Video Converter, works like a champ on FLVs, MP4s, MPGs, etc.

I haven`t been there in ages, i think i really need to get back there. :p as far as converting them, u could try a program called super converter, it works pretty well to covert video for free.

I render video all the time and when it comes to freeware, those two are the best; beyond that you need pay software and for those I would recommend Adobe Premier and then Sony Vegas 7 or higher. With either of those you can re-render any HD format to any well known codec. Also be aware that rendering video is literally used for bench marking the performance of PC's so how bad-asssss your PC (CPU & GPU) is, in terms of performance, is going to determine how fast you render, but be ready for some serious wait time know matter what because you are rendering HD video. :eek:

I don't have a free one, but the paid on I have is really good. How large are the files? Can you upload them somewhere else and let me do them for you? (It's the Applian Replay Convertor...)

If you have windows 7 you should be able to use windows live movie maker. I tried it with my HD clips and it works pretty good.

Me too, I was a lifeguard for 3yrs at a Major waterpark in Queensland (Australia), the bottom of a slide was the best spot for boob spotting. Every 2nd or 3rd girl would fall out of her bikini:D:D:D

Hey guys, no i'm not kidding but alot of problems have been going on, i have tried the programs you guys have suggested but for some reason the videos come out black with only sound and i'm trying to find something that works.
i'm just trying to convert the fliphd video to mpeg2 to post here and for dvd burning.
I'm using videoredo tv suite to edit videos but i cannot get these flip ones to convert

Sorry i'm just seeing this but I have a Flip HD and you have to use the software that came with it. In the Flip program (flipshare) you select the videos and then right click and choose Export To. That will convert them for you. If you dont have Flipshare you can get it online free (theflip dot com then click Support then Update. If you still have issues maybe upload the Flip files in the raw format to Rapidshare or something and someone can convert them for you.
