Photo developed at stores
 

Many years ago, before digital cameras were around, I had many pictures developed at a local photo shoppe.

I knew you could never take them to Walmart, Walgreens, or the like, as they don't develop those kind of pictures.

But in each instance, I would take the pictures, and have them developed. I lost many a picture, as they didn't come out with enough light, or the film was loaded incorrectly in my haste.

I was out at a friends cottage, with a bunch of us, and snagged the below photo with out the wifes knowledge.

After the weekend was over, I sent her over to the same photo shoppe I had used in the past. She asked why in the world did she have to go cross town to develop it. I told her it was the best quality, and that this was helping the little guys.

After a day or so, I sent her back to pick them up.

She didn't know that the picture existed. Until she had the guy inside, open up the envelope and go through the pictures one at a time, as not to make us pay for any that we didn't feel was good enough.

He was going through the pictures one at a time, and went past this one. I guess their eyes met, and she said "uh huh" and kept going.

She called me on the way home, asking what in the world was I thinking!!?!?!??!!?
She was pissed.

She got home and burnt the original and copy in front of me, as to never let anyone see them again.

But she forgot the negative.

She has since lightened up a little with the digital camera.

But I still have the negative of her first exposure anywhere on camera.

I had a friend that owned a camera store off-campus, ALL of the college boys took their 'special' pictures to him.
And him and his guy employees made and kept dupes of ALL special pics.
I would stop in a couple times a year, and he would let me go thru them in the back room, he would have maybe 2,000 at a time.
One time I was going thru them and found 'special' pics of a girl I worked with taken maybe 10 years prior, having done to her things I would fantasize doing.
And I still fantasize about it but the fantasy is more real now.
She is married and had 4 kids now, but at least I know how those kids were created, possible positions used.

My step son while in the navy in san diego had a part time job at a picture developing store- long before digital. He was also an avid cameraman himself and somehow managed to get all kinds of women to pose for him. but i digress. he confided in me that there were certain pictures that came in that were duplicaed unathorized and shared amongst the staff. so the good people of san diego who thought that their "private" pictures were private were instead being shared with a lot of people. I still have a binder with nearly two thousand pictures of people swinging, interracial, groups, exhibitionism, or just plain nude around the house or outside. I was astounded at the number of women in that town who were getting naked in front of a camera or who had open marriages allowing them to fuck. its probably going on all over your neighborhood even as i write this.

I have to fess up to having my first roll of dirty pics developed at the supermarket film drop in my college town. Never gave it a second thought at the time. In chatting with an art major friend of mine, she told me what they probably did with "extra" copies they made. From then on, she told me to just give her any film I needed developed.

I used to love having to get films developed, really enjoyed knowing that all the guys in the shop would have had a good look and my wife. I secretly hoped that they would have made copies for themselves. Hmm.. Might have to get my old slr out of the cupboard.:)

I did enjoy "Irish Drunkard"'s posting - especially because it means his art major friend got to look at all his dirty pictures instead of the commercial photo shop folks doing it.

Before digital I used to take nude pics of the wife, I used to take mine to the local store that had the photo printer in the front window, you could stand at the window and watch the pics being developed. Now the rub was you never knew when your roll of film would be developed so half the fun was that you never knew who was going to get a glimpse of your wife naked. I knew the guys working behind the counter would get their copies.....

Once my wife cheated on me and was silly enough to take pics of her and her bf, when she got the film developed she took out the evidence pics (there was about 9 of them) and the other 15, which where family shots she bought home. I was used to getting the full 24 to 27 pics per roll so when I saw 15 I asked her where the others were. She told me they didnt come out.....Yeah right. I checked the negatives and bingo, there she was laying on the bed of a sleazy motel room, the damming bit was the 2 different packets of smokes andd the pics of him grinning like the cat that had just eaten the cream... cos the prick had just.

I was angry but also excited so I took the negatives to the shop and asked them to develop the ones I nominated, I think the young guy behind the counter must have thought it strange that I was asking for specific pics of a guy and a girl in bed pics.

She offered to do a photoshoot of my girl, which we agreed to do, but never got around to actually doing. Who knows, they might have after we broke up.

A few years ago my wife had some sexy photos taken at a park by a photographer friend of mine. After many attempts I finally got her to agree to go to a local drug store where they had a kiosk that you entered a flash drive and print off the photos you want. Of course you have to call them up on the screen first. So she went through each one with them up on screen. I was fortunate enough that a couple of people walked by and get an eyeful.

Over the years I have found it very useful to build up a good relationship with the staff in the shops where I have the fims developed. You soon got to find out where the staff were unhappy to process the films - some refused to print the pictures, others handed them back with 'overexposed' stickers on them and others printed them but made it clear they would rather you didn't return to their store. When I did find shops that were happy to print my photos it often turned out to be mutually benefitial as I got great photos and they got great copies. An added bonus was I sometimes ended up photographing the femal staff!
One girl, Nicky, worked in a Klick Photopoint store with two other girls. She was a very pretty girl with long black curly hair. Compared to the other two girls she was quite quiet and , I thought, fairly shy. Over the months I got to know her quite well - she was 24 and had gone to college to do fine art but had dropped out after a couple of years and didn't draw anymore. She showed me some of her life drawings and they were excellent. She said how much she admired the people who had posed nude for her and wished she was attractive enough to pose herself.
What an invitation! Within two weeks she had agreed to pose for me with just two conditions. Firstly, NO taking them to her shop to be developed, and secondly she wanted the pictures taken outside in a fairly busy park quite a few miles away. I soon found out she was far from shy and while not wanting anyone she knew to see the photos she was quite happy for people in other shops to see her naked and she certainly didn't mind strangers seeing her naked outside!

The other lady I photographed who worked in a photo shop was Debbie. She worked in Boots photo department and I often saw her about town. She was a tall slim girl with long straight black hair with quite dark skin - I found out that her grandparents were Italian. In the summer she used to go shopping in her lunch hour still in her white lab coat which in the right light showed she liked quite brief underwear.
I had suggested a few times that she pose for me but she had always laughed off the suggestion. Anyway, one day I had finished work early and had done some shopping in town and was returning to my car when I saw Debbie. Jokingly I asked her if she had come to model for me - nothing unusual - it was a running joke with us. Amazingly she said 'lets do it' and about half an hour later we were down by the river with the Transporter Bridge in the background and Debbie removing her white coat. Her underwear was indeed brief but she didn't keep it on long anyway! I photographed her for about half an hour with her wearing nothing but a pair of gold sandals, then she dressed and I asked why she had posed today. She just said it seemed the right time.
I few days later I went into Boots to see her and one of her work mates told me she had walked out a few days before after a big row over training and wasn't coming back. I never did see Debbie again.

One of my ex-girlfriends who I was with for a long time used to let me take a lot of pictures of her naked with a film camera. They weren't sexual poses, just pictures of her doing various things naked - cooking, bathing, smoking. She was a young woman at the time, early 20s, she was quite slim with dark brown skin and big breasts. I was the first person who she had allowed to take such pictures. I actually didn't ask for permission the first time - I snuck up on her with a camera, and she gradually became used to it and enjoyed it.
There was a camera store around the corner from her run by a couple of Asian brothers. I would always take the films there for developing, she wouldn't usually come with me. One time though, I had given a roll of mostly naked pics of her, and we stopped at the store together to pick it up, since we were already out and passing by together. When the photo guy came out from the back and saw her, his immediate embarassment was evident, and he quickly turned around and went into the back room, I guess to compose himself before dealing with us. His reaction now made my girl embarassed - she already was a little nervous about the pictures and about picking them up. So what ensued was a very awkward interaction that I nonetheless enjoyed: my girlfriend having to deal face to face with someone who has just been looking closely at very revealing pictures of her.
After we paid and collected the photos, I impulsively pushed it a little further. I walked away from the counter to look at the photos, make sure they were all there, etc. She was whispering let's go and check them out at home...wanting to end the awkwardness and I eventually agreed...As soon as we left the store she commented on his reaction and her own embarassment, but was also laughing about it.

My girlfriend and I once had a roll with some full nudes on it but we chickened out one the 1 hour photo and had them sent out. But another time we were dropping of a roll at a 1 hour Target store photo and the machine was developing a roll and you and see the finished picture coming out and I got to see about 7 full nude and upclose pussy shots before the worker noticed and covered them up.

The last couple of stories reminded me of an incident years ago. Fairly tame, but interesting. She was a very beautiful lady and quite conservative. We had become very good friends over the years. She had been married about a year when she came across 2 rolls of film in a drawer at home. She dropped them off at the photo store across the street from our office. I walked over with her to pick them up. As she was very interested in what was on them, and given that we needed to get back to the office, she handed me one of the envelopes. I get about halfway thru and I came across one of he lr naked butt. She was quite upset with her husband that he had taken that picture. And it was probably the most red I have ever seen her face. I wish I had contained my reaction a little better. I might have been able to see if there were more. But she grabbed them before I had the chance.

Way back when my girlfriend had a friend who had been to Europe and brought back her film to be developed. She couldn't do this in a small town so she gave the film to my girlfriend and told her to take them to a big store in the city. My girlfriend got the film developed, and she showed me the pics. Most were standard tourist photos, but there was a photo of a guy with a hardon and topless one of my GF's friend.

This was a long time before digital, and it would have been difficult to have copies made without calling attention to the naughty shots. I wish there was a way to see those again. Her friend was hot.

Many years ago we took several fairly tame but nude shots. I was way too shy to get them - she didn't care a bit. Just strolled in picked them up and walked out with a smile

True story: my friend from Canada stayed with me once and after he left I found a roll of film in the car - figuring it would be mainly of me and my GF as we showed him around I developed them and yup, full nudes of his GF who we hadn't met. Open beaver the lot. We went to see them that summer and she was waiting for us at the airport while he parked and we walked straight up to her. She asked later that day how we recognized her. She must have known where that lost roll had gone,...! Can't think what happened to them over the years.

This is not really a "Nude Pic" story, but it sure fits.
My sister-in-law was getting re-married and I volunteered to take the wedding pics for her if she furnished the film.
Though an amateur photographer, I have shot many weddings.
When everything was done, I was outside the church with a couple of brothers-in-law and others and I talked them into mooning for the camera.
Two of them did and I got the ass shot with the balls swinging.
I never said a word to my sister-in-law.
She took the photos to Wal mart for processing and when she went to pick them up, she went through them with the clerk to "weed out the bad ones"
I was told she almost died when she got to the swinging family jewels.
I don't know if she kept the pics or not

These are just a few photos of my wife I had developed at a local 1HR photo shop. After taking several rolls in, the clerk and I began chatting. I told him that since he had already seen her, I didn't mind if he was keeping copies. He told me he was relieved to hear that, because he did have personal copies of every photo he developed of her. That was quite a turn-on.

How to do this now
 

I found an un-developed 35mm roll under circumstances where I believe (hope) there are pics of a beautiful woman I know. What does one do with them in this day and age? Anyone have any tips for me?

Get them developed for processing only, then you can just look at the negatives and see what is on there. If it turns out to be anything you can then get them scanned.

In addition to the approx. 70 nude Polarioids I took of my girlfriend (now wife) when she was 18-22, we took one roll of film photos that had her posing nude but wrapped in a towel, or topless laying on her stomach with her legs in the air, etc. At the very last she rolled onto her back and exposed her chest, turning her face away from the camera and using her arm to block her face also. We took those to a drugstore in our college town to be developed. I don't think anything came of it, but to this day I love thinking that she was willing to do that.

Back in the day, from the time I first met my future wife I started getting her used to posing topless and progressing to full nudes and finally progressing to to explicit spread/sex poses. She was hesitant at first but soon got turned on by it which led to her being more daring etc. I took a number of polaroids but the quality really sucked and they degraded so quickly. I started using a 35mm camera and before I knew it, I had dozens of rolls and none of them developed. I thought for a long long time before I even attempted to bring them anywhere to get developed. I would go in a store to drop them off and scope who was behind the counter first. I walked out of quite a few, too scared to drop them off because the person behind the counter gave me a weird vibe. Finally, I dropped them off for overnight developing not even sure what was on the roll I sent in. My heart was in my throat and I though I was pretty clever using a fictitious name as a cover. Man that was a long 24hrs. I could only imagine who was seeing whatever it was on the film and what they might be thinking. Well, I went the next day and picked them up and practically ran to car and as luck would have it it was pretty tame pics of wife in lingere and bras along with a number of topless ones too. It was at this time that I realized I have to be careful not including the naughty pics on the same roll as the the ones that had family gatherings and birthdays...etc. It was practically a scrapbook of pics of my wife and our entire family.
The next time I dropped off one of my mystery rolls I had no idea it was a hard core one of her spread and sucking. Also, it had pics of her friends and family once more. I think it shows what what a well rounded wife I have. lol
Once I had a roll come back with her doing very naughty things that had an X marked across a few pics with some sort of removable wax. Thank god it came off! They were great pix. After that I used one hour joints and had pretty good luck although the quality varied a lot. I just found a few more rolls that have to be over 10 yrs old and am deciding what to do with them. Like usual, I have no idea whats on em. I need to find a way to scan my negatives because the pics are not aging that well. Digital changed everything....made things easier but took out the risk...which was part of the excitement too. Oh well....

When I was stationed in Europe in the service back in the early 1980's I took quite a few nude photos of my wife with our 35mm camera. I took them to the military Exchange to have them developed (they would send them out to a local photo lab). After about the 3rd or 4th roll, I noticed I had 2 of the same photos in the pack. I counted the photos and discovered that there was exactly the correct number of photos in the package but one pose was missing and one was there twice. That was when I was positive that someone at the lab was making duplicates of my wife for himself. Perhaps they were making several sets to pass around. That was a huge turn-on. I continued to have photos developed there and knew they were being collected by others.

They sell devices specifically to do this - hook up to the USB port on your PC - and you feed the 35mm negatives in to a slot where they are back-lit. Scans them right in.

Nice surprise on old films developed
 

As a keen photographer of all things I had lots of old undeveloped reels lying around, all about 8 or 10 years old. I hadn't got around to developing them because i'd forgotton what was on them and didn't want to waste money if they were experimental stuff, trying out a new film type etc.

Before throwing them out I thought I'd get a few developed,(no prints) as I can scan them, and I thought maybe they wouldn't develop after all these years.

I picked them up when I was shopping with my wife and when I asked the guy in the shop if they came out Ok he said yes , and I held them up for a cursory glance and could see there were some from the house and some from a trip away. On the end of one of these I could see there were about a dozen shots of my wife posing naked in a hotel room, which I'd forgotton about completely. She was curious so I said, 'oh from one of our walking weekends'
'that's nice' she said. The guy behind the counter smiled partly because he realised she didn't know. A great moment, completely unplanned otherwise I would have ordered prints.
The colour has shifted a little in the negatives but they're better than I would expect after that time, and I can clean them up a little. Great memories of that evening as well.
So don't give up of those old films, there may be some lost gems.

Of course I'll have to tell my wife but I'm sure she'll see the funny side of it?,- I'll let you know.

Overcoming the reluctance of the wife... combined with the excitement on knowing another person will be looking at her naked ... was always worth the effort... Can't quite explain... But I'm sure everyone who follows this thread knows where I am coming from... Good stuff... keep it coming.

My wife got interested in photography in 1995 when she inherited a major collection of professional equipment from her uncle. She took some photography courses at the local university and set up a darkroom at home. She wasn't in it to make money but eventually she started shooting events for her friends and relatives and developing the b&w's herself.

Then one friend wanted to give her husband a set of boudoir pics as a present and didn't want to pose for a male photographer so she asked my wife to do it. After the shoot and developing my wife told me about it, of course I said I'd love to see the pics of her hot friend. My wife said her professional ethics would not allow that, I told her that since people were just paying for her supplies and expenses, she wasn't a professional, 'good point', she replied.

She said 'I suppose if you happened to look through the envelop on my desk I haven't delivered yet and saw the prints, I couldn't stop you'. This happened maybe a dozen times before she got bored with photography and sold the equipment. Almost all the pics were pretty tame by today's standards, a few nipples and see-thru nighties, an occasional wisp of pubes, but one was way over the top. A co-worker I would have thought to be very vanilla had spread-legs, dildo inserted, a very x-rated set. You never know who is the hot one.

We also took a lot of her that you couldn't develop at the drugstore. Unfortunately our house got robbed once and although they didn't steal the pics, it made her nervous about having them around and she burned them.

I really miss the days of developed film before digital came along. I used to work in a large store that had bins of developed film that was to be picked up by customers in the city that I lived in. Although, I did not know people by name, I got to see a lot of the naked pics that people took. I took time going through the film on my breaks. Fortunately, it was in my department of the store and my job to sort the film into film bins.

The company that developed the film for the store would often pull any hardcore pics, but every so often, some of the hardcore photos slip by their eyes. I was such a rush for me to find a naked photo and if it was hardcore, it was all the more a turn on. Sometime i would get to see the people that pick up their film since some of them needed help to find the film that was out of alphabetical order on purpose by guess who? ME, LOL

Some people that developed film had a habit of taking nudes, so i would remember their name and look each week for possible film development. many times HOT looking women would turn in film that was taken by their husbands or boy friends. Go Figure?? I would always write their name down and look for their film the next day. Often... SCORE!!!!! Nudes and sometime hardcore.

My favorite thing was to watch for busty women to drop off film in the summer time. So many vacations that included nudes of big boobs. WHAT A RUSH. Sometime women using toys or dildos. Not often cause of the censoring people at development. but sometime they slipped through.

I not longer work at the store and thus digital came along and put an end to developed film as you know. Too bad for me. Cheated by technology. LOL

I must add that although I miss the naked photos from film developed by people. it is nice to see so mnay more pics online by people in the digital age we live in.

My only regret is that I did not have a scanner available to me at the time. They were far and few during this period of my life and of course, I looked at pics, but never would take them home. I respected that it was their property, but I did look since someone who developed the film had already looked as well. I am sure someone disagrees with me, but that is how I justified looking guilt free.

Brings back old memories... You had to provide name and address to get pictures developed back then... Couple of developers must have taken a liking to my wife... They started sending lingerie catalogs to my house... Seems they wanted something a little more provocative... Took me a while to put 2 and 2 together... But finally gave them what they wanted.

I am sure that i am repeating myself here, but i can't help it. I loved when big busty women dropped off their film. Especially the really hot ones. it was almost a guarantee that there would be some nudity on the roll. I would look for them the next day since the photo lab developed film in 24 hours as a selling point.

Dam I miss those days. What a thrill to give them back their film or help them look for it, knowing what they looked like naked. Also, I would remember their names and look each day for more film from them. You guessed it. there were more naked pics in their rolls.

If I only had a scanner. Technology had not caught up yet at the time.

Finally, I used to love to find wedding photos and honeymoon pics. A GUARANTEE of hot film. Nothing better than seeing a bride in her wedding dress and then to see her completely naked on the same roll. And sometimes even seeing her being fucked or giving a BJ. So dam hot. I really miss those days.

Before my wife and I could really afford a digital camera we took a lot of photos on film. I had acces to a small lab and developed the B/W and color slides myself. I really wanted to take color print film of her but was leary of taking them to be developed locally.
We started slowly, shooting a tit shot or one of her in her panties on the end of a roll we had been shooting. I finally just went to one of the local drug stores that sent their rolls out of town to be processed. It took about 4 days from drop off to pick up.
Finally I got brave enough to shoot some pussy shots & waited breathlessly for the prints to arrive.
After I picked them up I went to the car to see the results. I was shocked to find someone elsed pictures in my envelope. I quickly checked the negatives and they were mine, but the prints were all wrong! I went back to the counter and explained that I had the wrong prints but the right negatives. The young guy at the counter said that happens occasionally & he would send my negatives back for the correct prints.
Okay, this much I know, someone out there got some naked pictures of my wife that they weren't expecting. I'm not sure if it happened at the processor or at the store.
When I finally got the right prints, there were three of one pose, two of three other poses and one of the final four poses. The pussy shots I only got back one of each. Again I'm not sure who was getting the extras. I did notice that there was a "4" marked on the outside of the mailer where it said "reprints".
