What Makes It "Original Content"?
If it's something you shot, a friend shot or someone you personally know and it's being posted at OCC first.

How It Works:
All forum members are eligible to participate (with the exception of OCC Staff Members). In the set time period just post a photo or a set of photos in this thread. After the time period comes to an end 10 finalists will be selected by OCC Staff and a new thread will be opened with a poll. The 10 selected will be listed in the new thread and members of the board can vote for their favorite one. The thread for voting will be opened for two weeks.

The Rules:
Only original photos will be accepted.
You may submit as many photos as you like but only one of your photos/sets may be picked for the top 10.
If possible, include a brief description with your entry, a back story may make the photo/set that much better.
If you would like, you can post in another thread and link it back here as an entry.

Prizes:
First Place: $160, a One Click Pass for a year and a Custom User Title of your choice. (Valued at $219.95)

The winner will be paid via paypal so all you need is a paypal account. Good luck to all and may the best photo/set win!

There's been some great original content contributions over the years from Klondike, Pedro, dst6, Kaptain, squirrel, stanzi, garl, 024289, vhunter & you). I apologize if I left some people out, tried to name a few off the top of my head. But yeah, I've just been trying to catch up.

Looking forward to seeing what people enter, hopefully it's a good turn out.

Any chance this was assembled backward (i.e. the durations of passes reversed), or should all those photogs out there be "shooting" for third place rather than first?

No, it was meant to be assembled that way. It's set so each placing has a decent prize if you add up what each is valued. I bumped up the second prize winnings so it is valued higher than third place.

If you think about it, first place can get you not only a 3 month but a 1 year, if you decided to spend the $50 on a pass.

First Place: Valued at $74.95.
Second Place: Valued at $59.95.
Third Place: Valued at $54.95.

I will be submitting pics, but I'm a little unclear as to what constitutes a "set" or "entry". Are these just all pics submitted by the same user at the same point in time no matter how many there are? In otherwords, if I post 20 pics, then come back two days later and post 20 more, is that two sets or two entries? And what if that 20 pics were 100? Does it matter? Is there a size limit on the number of pics in a set (or entry)?

sorry for all the questions. I think this is a great idea and great way to draw out original material. Offering a money prize will also insure this gets noticed, and get more people off there butts and out "into the field"!

Also, as you know, I have submitted a lot of original material in the past. I could resubmit old stuff, or only new, never been posted to OCC stuff. I assume this doesn't matter, though..

BTW - if by chance i were to win any money, I will give it all to charity. :) i.e. I will give it all to you poor, overweight, middle aged men who could add some spice to your life by getting out to a naked event once a year with your camera.

Entering a "set" would mean entering 10 or more photos from the same event or photoshoot. It would make it easier to judge if the "set" is kept together, rather than posting them at random. Considering the max is 10 photos per post I would say one post would count as one entry. However, if you would like to enter 10+ photos as a "set", just clarify in your post that the next X amount of photos will be one entry. You could also post 8 or 9 photos as a preview and upload a zipfile, which ever is easier.

Keep in mind, if the turn out is great, judging and voting won't be easy for anyone but I would say the three winners should be determined by what's captured, photo quality, context and back story (if there is one).

There's no limit to the number of photos/sets you can enter.

I don't know how often you plan on having these or if this is a one time thing, but something like four times a year would be pretty cool. Then if you were to just solicit pics that were taken during the three months since the last contest, that would keep everything current and fresh.

I have come to know an awful lot of Flickr members who take event pics, and judging by the amount of pride they take in them, most would probably jump at the chance to enter them into a contest. If I get the word out, this could be the catalyst bringing lots of new members and pics to the forums (of course the pics themselves end up here anyway, but at least they would be posted by the original photographers now :)).

This is a bit odd for me, as I have posted about 2000 original shots already and don't have many left that are new!!! I'll have a dig around and see what I can find. If the contest was a month or so later, I think I would be OK.

I need a little more clarification on this point:

by "here" do you mean OCC, or the thread? If you mean the thread, then original pics already posted to OCC in previous threads cannot be resubmitted, I assume.

Right, I thought I would set the bar high here.........beat these!!!!

These photos taken in May 2009 are mostly straight un-edited out of the camera shots (check the photo number sequence in most of them) of 8 (yes 8) young 18-19 Y.O.college girls , 4 of whom stripped off fully naked, 3 who went topless and one shy one who kept her bikini on, at a public beach near me in Spain.

I only have 110mm zoom on my tiny 'hidden' camera, so you can see that they were pretty much next to me on the beach. I posted shots last year here, but I do not think I posted the un-zoomed (digitally) or un-cropped versions. I just took a chunk of these, I have about 50 shots altogether, but thought 10 would be enough to start with.

If the contest goes well enough there will probably be another in the summer months. I know there's plenty of beach goers that visit the forum.

Posted on OCC first. If you wanted to select some great photos that you have previously posted on OCC as an entry then that's fine. But with that said, I don't want to discourage anyone from posting new content.

OK Slick, thanks for clarifying things, I'll post some more after the official start time (once you guys get around to starting the 14th March, that is) as I am sure I have one or two new ones.

I guess this elimantes the web searchers, or does it mean original never before seen here on OCC. Of course I only post originals but what about a great contributor like Dognheat or Annacodon they have great stuff please help.

For right now this contest is focused on original photos taken by yourself, a friend or someone you personally know. It does exclude any photos found on the internet. I agree that dognheat and annacondom are both great posters but it doesn't eliminate them or anyone else from the contest. If someone wanted to enter all you need is a camera and some willing participants that are nude in public.

There is also plenty of room for web find contests in the future, which again would be open to everyone.

I had a choice as to whether to post my best pics or my most recent ones which have not been posted to OCC before. I decided to go with my most recent ones. At least they are fresh. These below were all taken at various Fremont Parades from 2006-2009 except for the last pic which was taken on Collins Beach in Oregon.

As for a story, the Fremont Parade needs no introdution. Not much stealth is involved here, and nobody gets kicked out of the Fremont district for bringing their camera with them to the parade. So - sorry I have no tales of bravery or cunning in the face of adversity. I just raised my camera, carefully placed the viewfinder against my eyeglass lens, and with gentle pressure, depressed the shutter button - over and over and over and over again. And with further deft manuevers involving the left hand, far away subjects were masterfully brought into close focus. Think its as simple as all that, though? Did I mention the close encounters with sharp elbows wielded by other photographers standing within a hairs breath of me? Or the effort needed to fend off the more aggressive fellows determined to get their extreme close ups no matter what? Lets see if Pedro ever had to put up with THAT :)

This thread really seems to be generating some interest, and what a fantastic day to start the thread, each year the Alexandria bay Nudist Carnival is held in march and this year on the same date as the start of this thread, not sure if it is Greenwich Mean Time or green witch, lol, but let me tell you it is a fantastic event, and you get some of the hottest girls from all across Australia and the world on the beach on this day, there must be atleast a thousand naked people, and heaps of sexy young babes. I hope the Aussies on OCC make this comp a fun and magnificent thread, and i think Aussies such as Busyd and Vhunter will give the USA guys a run for their money, by the way nice start to Pedro and Klondlike, by the way Klondlike if you win that $50 will get you a ticket for the Plan B Party Tour in surfers paradise on a saturday night.

I'm losing track of these nudist carnivals (nude olympics) down there. How many do you have? There is one on Maslin Beach, Swanbourne (sp?), and now Alexandra Bay too, or that one of the other ones...

I want everyone to give Pedro and me a run for our money!! That would be lots of fun. I'm even trying to wean some guys I know off of Flickr to come over here and post their best stuff. We got a whole month to do this!
And then what we'll have is basically not so much a contest thread, but a vast original PN pic thread. Maybe when Slickone pulls out the finalists and transfers them over to that new thread, he can rename this one "original public nudity pics 1" or something, close it, and unsticky it. So that may be one other good thing that will come out of this - it will pull together all this stuff and make it easy to find. But best of all, it will bring some much needed prestige to those that bring us these pics, and by showcasing their work, should assure everyone a continued flow of new stuff well into the future. Look out, Coccozella's!

These are all from a biker party up in New York state. Pretty much what you see is what you get anything goes. In the 16 yrs I've gone I seen just about anything you can think of from public sex to flashing to a GP medium tent get hit by lightning and mud forget about it. Hope evryone enjoys

3 Nude Girls Part I
 

Hey Guys... Great idea for a photo contest.

The following is a submission from some of my earlier work. I have a beach that I frequent from time to time (Keeping location secret for now). Every time I go I am almost never dissapointed. Getting photos on the other hand is not that easy. Like Pedro, I have been using a pretty basic digital camera with almost no zoom, so I need to get pretty close to teh subjects and try take the photo without getting busted.

On this particular day these three girls set up pretty close to me. They remained topless for most of the time. Just as i was getting ready to leave they all quickly pulled off their bikini bottoms and ran to the ocean for a swim. I sat back down and waited for what seemed like an eternity for them to return from the water. These are the shots I got from there return. Granted, the quality is pretty poor, but i was shaking like you can't believe. they were no further than 5m as I was trying to snap away with my concealed camera.

I have a few more sets that I will post over the coming weeks.

P.S. The photo names suggest they were taken from Flickr. Indeed they were, they are from my photostream, I have just downloaded them quickly to post here. Original pics are on a USB that I am struggling to locate. See if you can find me at Flickr. (My better shots are hidded F&F).

is it possible to repost pics from this contest in other threads? there is a couple that would fit in a thread of mine, so that i can keep an eye on them...

It might be good to PM the original poster and ask permission before you repost them in another thread. As the members posting the photos in this thread do rightfully own them.

If she posed nude in a public setting then they would be fine to enter. Just standard glam/modeling shots don't apply to this contest. I'm assuming you just posted those photos to show what she looks like?

Hey slick, yeah these shots are to show what she looks like and are the most revealing I have. Any nude shots I might get would be in public or semi-public. I know she has a definite exhibitionist streak cause she has gone skinnydipping with us in our hot tub, and she has flashed her boobs and pussy in public at resteraunts and other places. I just didn't have the camera with me when she did it but she has hinted at letting me.

This girl as you can see is amazing and had fun on one of byron bays most popular nude beaches.

Might I be allowed to put in a plug for my new Flickr group, Public Nudity Photographers? this is a private, invitation only group, open only to those who have established themselves at Flickr by posting original public nudity material in their photostreams. I post this here because OCC does have members who also upload to Flickr and who may at some point participate in this contest. And I invite any other photog who is not currently a Flickr member to consider becoming one, uploading their pics, and joining this group. Group members will have access to pics taken by other members that cannot be found anywhere else on the web! thanks - KLondike
