nude beaches in interior Europe - no ocean
 

Ok, the latest in my nude beaches series by country takes a twist. This thread is for beaches in the interior continent of Europe that are away from the ocean. By "beach" I mean any place where people might congregate naked next to a little water. That water might be a quarry, river or lake, and the "beach" may be sandy, grass, or whatever.

There are a lot of mysterious naked location in places like Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria and Hungary, to name a few. And the cool thing is that many of these placed get really PACKED with naked people in summer! But to qualify for this thread, there must be evidence this place is a regular, known location frequented by many, not just a quiet place for a couple to strip off.

In some ways, this could end up being my favorite thread in the series, because once you start looking for these places, they begin cropping up all over. Its pretty easy to pic out nudity along a river or lake or quarry as opposed to an ocean. Also, if you find pics of nudes massed on grass without any evidence of water nearby, include those here too. That will give us coverage of German parks, for example, and places like Englischer Garden, Teufelsee, Tiergarten, etc.

I'm looking forward to seeing what others can come up. I am happy to see contributions in my other threads so far from Europeans who definately know their geography over their better than I do! Lets keep it up!

For starters, this beach is an oddball and if anyone knows where it is, please let me know. It features a bridge and may not be too naked, but any nudity at all will do for this thread.

If we were to include Russia and interior locations there (lets...), that would bring us to Silver Pine Park in Moscow, which is the most heavily photographed and uploaded nude beach in this category. There was an entire website once devoted to pics from this beach. After you've seen a few hundred pics from there, picking the location out is fairly straightforward.

But......MOST of the web pics from Silver Pine Park do not show any water. Yet, I think there is river access and a small beach, and that pics of it can be found on the net. Below are pics that might be from the river that runs through Silver Pine Park, but I am not sure. I could be totally wrong. Its just another one of those mysteries.....looking for answers......?

OK, we have a lead. I just found these three pics in my Silver Pine Park folders, and both show some water and a small opening like in the above pics. So, I am thinking I was correct, and that this is the river beach in that Moscow Park.

These two pics below are notable to me because of the trees in the background. I was in Berlin once, and the forests throughout that area are filled with trees like the ones shown here. They are some kind of pine, maybe, with reddish or orange bark, topped by a dense crown. Its just another one of those geography tips....so place these pics in north, central Europe probably.

seeing the sloping concrete along the opposite bank in these pics reminds me of the same feature in the pics I put up in post no. 1 (pics with bridge). So I wonder if this location is near that one with the bridge. Klondike

Four more river beach pics. Most likely this is Europe. On other continents, these types of locations are scarce and when pics are found, they seldom show people on the opposite bank like this.

EDIT: use every possible clue in sleuthing naked locations :) See the bird in pic no 1? I believe that is a European crow!!

OK, these pics are more like from European parks than from river beaches per se. The recipe here is grass along a small lake or pond generally. if any of these locations look familiar to you, please speak up! Could be they're in your neighborhood or town.

There is a great fantasy that goes with nakedness in parks, because a park can be sort of reminiscent of a campus quad or place where students go to relax for an hour or so after class with a book. I mean, imagine these are students you just got done having class with. There's that cute girl that was sitting in the front row.....:)

Also, below I have a included one pic that looks like it might be from Silver Pine Park in Moscow. So here is a quiz - how many can tell me WHICH pic below is the likely Silver Pine Park pic?

The last pic is maybe the coolest of all here because there is full nudity in a very public park. But I wonder - it almost looks like it could be photoshopped. Just not totally sure....

You know, I just did a google search on "Silver Pine Park", and I got, like, zero returns (except my own OCC posts!!).
So, I don't know if this is the proper translation for this park in Moscow. I would appreciate any input on this.

Here is a guy that probably knows the answer, except that he no longer visits OCC. His time here was brief, but intense. How many remember jbravalomanana of Photofile fame? Below is a link to his threads and pics:

I post this here because among his contributions to OCC were some very large zips and sets from Silver Pine Park (or whatever you call it). I don't know exactly where those zips are now except on my hard drive. Below are a few sample pics so that you know the park I am talking about. I'm sure many will recognize these and the location, but how many know that the number of pics from here number into the thousands?

Poland turns out to be the setting for these fairly well known pics below. This is a quarry in or near Krakow, i believe. This place has been featured in some Coccozella galleries also, and there are undoubtedly more pics in this series.

Hungarian nudism is pretty much off the radar most of the time. But then, you will find the occasional pic, and its like, man, the whole country must get naked in the parks! Also, this country must have a very large lake somewhere, because a few pics I've seen show a body of water so large you can hardly see the other shore. It ain't on the ocean, either..

closing out for now, I'm posting this old pic from the heyday of Germany's love of going naked in the park. This pic is probably from the seventies or so. It is a pic from a bygone era now - doubt they pack 'em in like this anymore. It brings a tear to my eye.....

well, maybe the German's still do pack 'em in pretty good at their parks. i think these pics are all from Halensee which is a small patch of green just off the freeway SW of downtown Berlin. Not much of a place to go for a swim, but it probably seldom gets over 85 F here anyway...

The sloping grass here is a clue to this location as you don't often see this in naked park pics. The last pic is an aerial showing the general location, with Halensee being that patch of green along the pond.

Mugglesee is in the former East Berlin, and is bigger than Halensee. This pic below appeared once in Lee Baxinall's "Guide to Nude Recreation" accompanied by a description saying 15,000 people could be found here on a nice day. After reading that, I booked my reservation (just kidding)...

Anyway, I did eventually make it there, but it was cloudy and 62F and, well, it didn't quite live up to the pic...

...and here, grasshopper, is why you don't want to change file names willy-nilly: Klondike's first post of these contained one called Ser.Bor something or other, and that in Google turned up a picture. That linked to a web page with the following: Serebryanyi Bor (apparently also and more commonly anglicized Serebryany Bor), whence these teeny pictures from '99. It's in Moscow, it's nudist, and I've seen translations Silver Forest, Silver Cone of Pine, etc. Using Klondike's suggested trick in another thread, seek under Серебряный Бор. That's what I'm going to do when I finish catching up at OCC!

And kudo's Crispus! I'm still calling it Silver Pine Park until I get a decent English translation, though. Below is an aerial of the park. Just north of the water are little open areas where the volleyball takes place and where so many web pics are taken. Then I assume you have to take a short path through the woods to get to the water. That is what my pics show. The whole park is just west of downtown Moscow.

Having a Russian language name for this park ought to reap dividends - I eagerly await......

Its not much but it does show two things: One, women sometimes take nude beach pics! And two, coupling the pics with the map to the right shows you exactly where each pic is taken so that you can really get a sense for the location.

Some pics of the famous Englischer Garten in Munich, very popular clothing optional spot among the Germans.
People of all ages are going there to sunbath and relax freely, nude and clothed people are mixed without any problem!!! That's Germany!!! Land of FKK ( Freikörperkultur ) = Free body culture!!! Just love it!

So here I go "Серебряный Бор", silver forest near Moscow, a part of the place was taken by the naturist and they did well, clothed and nude are mixed, seems to have a ratio of more nude women than men! What a perfect place!

Great thread. I´m currently located in Hungary so I think I can give you some info on this part of the world.

In post 4 you mention trees with reddish upper bark. These are almost certainly Pinus sylvestris, commonly known (UK) as Scots Pine, hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinus_sylvestris shows the distribution.

Post 7 The bird is Corvus corone cornix aka Hooded Crow. Distribution hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooded_Crow

Post 16. The big Hungarian lake is Lake Balaton. Its the biggest lake in central Europe and is about 50 miles long by about 10 wide. hxxp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Balaton

Now the bad news about Hungary. Nudism is very rare. There are two naturist beaches on the lake, one at Balaton Akali (known as Levendula camping hxxp://www.balatontourist.hu/balaton_campings_apartments/naturist/en/ ) which is midway along the north shore of the lake and Balaton Bereny which is on the south side at the far west end of the lake hxxp://www.balatonbereny.hu/includes/naturist_beach_and_camp_site/naturism.html

Elsewhere on the lake nudism is non existent and even toplessness is rare with the exception of Coca Cola beach in Siofok which is popular with the twenty somethings. There is, afaik only one other naturist campsite in the country, near Szeged. In your top picture they are certainly cooking in a trad Hungarian "bogracs" this could be the place near Szeged as its certainly not Balaton. Pics 2 and 3 are Balaton Bereny, I know cos I´ve been there lots. Finally pic 4 is difficult to place for sure, but I think before Levendula opened about 4 years ago the same company had an FKK site at the east end of the lake so I´m guessing its there. Note about the bathing platforms, the ones at Levendula are like the ones in your last pic, there are three in total, at Bereny there is only one and its big and circular.
Other possible Hungarian locations are on the River Tisza especially the Tisza To where there are plenty of secluded spots.
Now I didn´t want to go without giving you one more link (couldn´t find it) but here it is;

great summary of the situation in Hungary, Littlep. Thanks - most of that I didn't know and I think I would have expected a little more activity in that country. For one, Hungary is the location of all those erotic adult show sites like http://www.machomedia.hu et al, and it seemed Bucharest was a pretty open place for nudity/naturism in general. Anyway, so I don't expect to see a lot more pics from there, then, but you never know. That is unless the challenge of the hunt could spur someone into really taking on this country! (hint, hint......)

That looks like the beach at Kiev, Ukraine, made famous by x-nudism.

Its a little hard to confirm - I need to see some buildings....

i was in hungary nearly 20 years ago, at a natural hot springs north of Eger, and there was plenty of nudity...

I posted a couple from this location, which might be an abandoned and flooded quarry, quite some time ago (apparently more than 500 back, and thus unsearchable); osreb had a few just recently; here are more, selected to show location and ambience, including attendees' willingness to spread out on a downslope just to be there...

i have not seen these, nor any pics from quarries that are this wild. The Czech and Polish quarries are often located in farmland areas. At first, I thought this might be from the US, but other clues (uncircumsized guy, for example) would suggest Europe.

The better known quarries over there can really pack them in - I mean, we're talking up to 1000 bathers. This one is obviously smaller, but nice nonetheless.

Question - don't people worry about getting their camera's wet here?
