It's about 9:30 Sunday morning, and I just crawled out of bed. I sit down at my computer and click through a few favorite sites, looking for anything new and exciting. There's not much happening. I hit the OCC forum, click through a few threads... wish I had something to contribute. Almost all the stuff I've saved over the years is either watermarked or already posted here. Someday I'll dig up a few that might be new to this crowd... someday, maybe.

A thread about Nudes-a-Poppin' catches my eye. I see the date. Hey, that's today. I've always been curious about that show... I hit the NAP site and learn it's kind of a long drive for me, but do-able. Too bad I have to work this afternoon. Oh well.

I take a shower, get dressed, cook breakfast.

I'm munching on breakfast when the phone rings. It's one of my bosses. He says one of his bosses fucked up something important, and our mega-super-crucial-important weekend project can't happen today. No overtime for Buster. He says sorry about that. I think to myself, hey maybe he's got a good point there. I take a look at the Nudes-a-Poppin' site again. Hmm... it's almost 11:00 now, and the show starts at 12:00. It'll take me two and a half hours to get there. The show is scheduled to run 'till somewhere between 5:00 and 7:00. I wonder if the trip will be worth it if I miss the first couple hours. I realize the $60 admission is the same as three or four trips to a strip club. It's a lot of miles, but I have a couple of gas cards burning a hole in my wallet.

I stop trying to talk myself out of it, scribble down the directions to the resort, grab my camera, look for the spare batteries for a few minutes, give up on the batteries, and hit the road.


I should've spent more time looking for those spare batteries.


It's about 1:45, and I'm pulling into the Ponderosa Sun Club. My very first time at a nudist resort. I pay my $60 at the gate, slowly drive around the corner, and hit the brakes to avoid running down two naked men. Hey, where are the hot chicks? I follow the signs around another corner and glimpse a few naked women in the distance. Ah, there they are.

I park, grab my one-battery camera, and walk into the resort.

The weather is perfect; low 70s with a gentle breeze, partially cloudy, no rain. The resort has a good mix of shade trees and open lawn areas. The show itself is centered around the big swimming pool, where they've set up multiple stages of various sizes inside a fence. Most of the contestants are smokin' hot and nearly always fully nude, out in the bright sunlight, but they mostly stay inside the fence. While official contest events take place on the main stage, the hopefuls walk along the fence to ask the guys to vote for them. They ask for votes by posing on blankets and small platforms with poles for dancing. The crowd is about 90% male, and most of them have a camera or two or three. There are several naked men and a few topless women wandering around, enjoying the show. Before checking out the main stage, I decide to wander the grounds and see what there is to see.

I start taking pictures of what I see.

The first couple of shots are of a contestant working the crowd. Next are a couple of barely dressed women out in the crowd. Then I stumble across this woman lying on a blanket out in the public picnic area, clearly getting off on spreading and rubbing her pussy in front of dozens of strangers with cameras. Forget that she ain't a supermodel... this is hot as hell. Next to her is a more elderly woman reading a novel and ignoring the crowd. I like her pussy decoration, so take a picture of it. Then I head back to the pool.

Nudes-a-Poppin' is a great event, but you better be able to handle exposure to lots of naked man-junk, that's all I'm saying about it.

The woman in the white shirt is just dancing and teasing for anybody who'll stop to notice. She's cool.

A crowd of guys with cameras are clustered around this little building on the opposite side of the pool from the main stage. I wander over to see what they're looking at, and hit the jackpot. It's a raised, covered deck attached to the clubhouse. The contestants and their guests use it to relax in the shade when they aren't working. Often, some of the contestants come over to the railing to put on a show and ask for votes. I decide this is a good place for taking pictures, and work my way up to the front.

It's hard to get a good photo of the girls walking to and from the deck area. Part of the problem is my cheap-ass digital camera and its fraction of a second delay after I push the button. I start to wonder how long the battery is good for.

The black girl in the eighth shot has one of the most perfect asses I have ever seen. It is a marvel worthy of high class poetry and shit. Unfortunately, I can't get a real good angle on that incredible ass, and then she goes and sits it down right next to a hairy pimpled man-ass. Oh well.

It's like a giant strip club with huge amounts of audience participation, but out in full daylight so you can actually see the people, not quite so much ear-damaging music, and you can ask the girls to pose for your camera. No, it's not like a nude beach where people have to pretend not to be turned on by beautiful bodies.

Also... just because I'm feeling kind of attacked here for doing precisely what this forum is here to do... I think you should notice just how many of my pictures are of the amateur girls walking around, mingling, displaying themselves for some friendly exhibitionism. I actually like those better than most of the pros.

As far as the makeup of the crowd is concerned, you are definitely correct that many of the naked folk are swinger-types and not "true" naturists. I think it would be a mistake, however, to assume that the general population of this once-a-year event - catering to porn and strip club fans - in any way represents the general population of the Ponderosa Sun Club at any other time. That would be like visiting New Orleans during Mardis Gras and drawing conclusions about what kind of people live there.

Hi everyone, I too was at the NAP 09 yesterday and thought I would share some of the photos my wife and I took.

Sorry, that is not what I intended to do, I am delighted you are sharing these originals, I just hate the NAP event itself so much I felt the need to 'fire off' my own personal thoughts on the event. Again, no offence to you, but that 'tatoo covered woman' looks like something from a travelling freakshow from a hundred years ago! I bet you found no 'bearded ladies' there....at least not down below:D:D:D

It looks like we're all pretty much in agreement as to what NAP is and what NAP isn't. And then there is the issue of what NAP WAS as opposed to what NAP is today. That said, I regularly check out NAP galleries here, at Flickr, at Cooco's etc for good pics and ignore the ones that don't suit my tastes. These galleries often have a good variety of pics that show a lot of different types of women.

Maybe someday OCC will be so big and well organized that we will have separate forums for "innocent" public nudity as opposed to "Exhibitionist and stripper" public nudity, but then consider that even at events such as Fremont, the line can get a little blurred. And those two hotties at this year's Portland daylight WNBR that everyone has been crooning over actually looked kind of like NAP/stripper types to me. So in any event, things will probably remain as they are now for the forseeable future.

So......enjoy if you can, what you can, and please don't stop taking original photos at whatever event suits your tastes. There are plenty of nice pics in this thread, and those two blondes at the rail are AWESOME. :)

Thanks for the great photos, a very nice effort. I have not been over there to the NAP for years. The buddy I used to always travel over there with passed away, and I just have not been able to go without him, guess it wouldn't be as much fun. We're both disabled Vietnam vets and the folks in charge there knew that, and treated us real good every year.

Back in the day the place was crawling with Japanese fellows armed with very expensive cameras, I recall that due to the censorship laws in Japan, they came to Indiana back then for their pussy photos. This was pre-internet by the way.

Well Sir I can tell you that not much has changed in that respect.

I think he means the girls with the afro wigs. You can find them in the WNBR (non-UK thread). There are a bunch of topless photos of them and then a few fully nude.

Personally, I read it as that they were not stripper-types, but were dressing up that way, playing that role as it were.

As for NAP in general, since we're all voicing our opinions, I would say that even though I typically am more interested in true amateur nudity like B2B etc, I personally love this event. While it's true that many of the girls that are photographed the most are "stripper-types" in the most negative sense of the term (fake boobs, teased hair, looking just plain worn out), every year there are a handful of girls that are naturally beautiful, just flat-out knockouts. And while there's something hot about the truly amateur, shy young girl daring to bare it all for the first time at an event like B2B, there's also something very sexy about the kind of confident nudity we see at NAP, especially when it's from the aforementioned natural beauties.

It's also worth noting that there are two categories/competitions (actually three if you count the amateur wet t contest) at NAP: touring "feature" strippers that are there to build their touring resume, and regular club girls who while competing for titles are really are just there promoting their clubs. The feature competitors mostly look pretty used up, but many of the club girls are young, like 19 or early 20's, and haven't even been stripping that long. Particularly with these girls, even if they get naked for a living, there is still definitely still a daring aspect to this. Many of the clubs these girls come from are topless only, so there's that aspect, and then there is also a huge difference between taking your clothes off for a couple minutes in a dimly lit club, where no photographs are allowed vs. parading around all day fully nude in the bright sunlight in front of thousands of cameras. I say this because I've watched a lot of the videos out there from this event that include interviews with the participants, and they all mention this and talk about being a bit nervous about it and what a thrill it is. So even though it's a different scale, I think there's some of the same energy at this event (i.e. girls taking the plunge and doing something exciting and daring for the first time) that we see at other less commercial events, just in a different form.

Plus, as I said, while a lot of them look pretty hit, a number of these women are truly stunning, and what's not to like about that?

Edit: I forgot to say that buster and everyone else with stuff to post in this thread are off to a great start and should please keep posting. There are some events on OCC that seem to have unanimous appreciation, and others that people seem divided on. I've already voiced my wholehearted appreciaton for this event, and I know there are alot of OCC members who agree. Not everyone likes the occasionally hairy hippie girls that Pedro posts in his thread, but that doesn't stop him from being one of the most prolific (and revered) posters on OCC. To each their own, right?

No! I was actually suffering from camera envy because everybody else's equipment looked bigger and better than mine. I bought a Nikon Coolpix S51 on sale a couple years ago because it was the best megapixel/dollar ratio I found, and it looked extremely simple to use. I'm not a photography buff at all; I just want to point and shoot. So far I've been generally happy with this camera... although the quarter second delay whenever I pushed the button meant I missed quite a few potentially great shots yesterday. I really really want a better zoom too.

I'm so glad you got a shot of this woman. She's the same one I got here. I was angry when my slow reflexes and slower camera missed the frontal view, with her walking around with that little dress hiked up so her pussy was on display. Hey, what a coincidence! My story continues...

Just as I'm starting to think about moving on from the contestant's deck, I see a big crowd gathering behind me across the road. Of interest in photo #5 is the woman standing up at the top row in back, wearing the purple shirt and white skirt. The MC got the crowd to demand she enter the contest, and started cheering her on. The crowd cheered her on some more, then started to lose interest and looked elsewhere. A few minutes later, she walked down and entered.

I'm going to get my pictures, dammit!

The contest finally gets rolling, and as if on cue, some heavy clouds roll over the sun. It was already shady in this place, now it's getting downright gloomy. Looks like it might rain. Not good light for photographing naked wet girls! And on top of that, my already slow camera displays the low battery icon and starts running even slower. I'm waiting for something like 20 seconds between shots now, and many great opportunities pass me by.

But the girls look great, so it's still a good day. :)

I turn my camera off for a minute and turn it back on. It behaves well enough to get several shots of the not-really-an-amateur skinny chick, but craps out in the middle of Attitude Girl's wild thrashings.

The sky starts to lighten some, and my camera gets worse. I'm kicking myself for not taking the time to find my extra batteries.

I saw She Of The Perfect Ass working the crowd along the fence. She stopped to pose on the blanket directly in front of me. I gave her my best smile and told her she's beautiful. She smiled back and thanked me. I asked if I could see her ass a little more closely. She bent over two feet in front of my face and stayed there for a minute.
