Sorry I haven't been around so much guy's and girls, but I will explain myself. I love this place and always have, but there just is no appreciation here for the hard work we do of finding and posting of pics. The "thank you" button is a joke to me. It takes me hours to do what I do and one second to push that button. If people can't take one minute out of their lives to write a thanks or appreciation for my work then they just won't get to see it.

I've been posting tons at another forum and they know how to thank a guy. Hell, I've gotten up to 15 replies on one thread there. Anyway, I hate to b*tch, especially here, but it has to be said again that lurkers here at OCC suck. :mad:

Here's a thread just because of the respect I have for a few people here at OCC.

I hear you and I agree. I have to admit, despite the shitty ratio of views to thanks, the mods do a great job of keeping the forums well organized and civil. I think the overall quality of the people who participate (like you) is excellent.

Otherwise, it blows my mind that I can make a post like this one and get thanked by six people after it's been up for three weeks. Half of the people who took the time to click thanks have made thousands of contributions here.

Hope to see more great photos in your "production." :)

...you better watch it, there are some none-sucking Lurkers (well, at least one I know of) on here as well. ;)

Then again, I couldn't agree more with your point of view. It kept bugging me quite a bit at times (see my sig for details) to do all the uploading on a (in the beginning of my posting here) rather slow connection and getting almost no to no recognition at all, no matter what or how much I posted.

These days, I keep telling myself "Hey, myself, if the stuff you post is that good it keeps people from putting their hands back on the keyboard...". Doesn't help me too much, I admit, but myself seems to be rather content with the approach. ;)

As for the fact that it's mostly other high(er)-figure posters clicking the "Thanks" button: We know how much time and effort goes into searching, sorting and posting. So we appreciate that effort if we see it made by others. Those with the "All take and no give!"-mentality will never even get close to understanding.

Don't let them get you down.

Well, I have to say that I am somewhat touched by all the feedback. I was just speaking my mind when I wrote what I did and it is obvious that all of you are speaking from your hearts and I really appreciate it. The last thing I was doing was fishing for replies, but what you all have written has made me change my mind about not posting here as much anymore.
