Guess what I found? New '09 video!

This is probably the best video I've seen of the Polar Bear Run:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFkm8dlFj54

Edit:

I also found this new '08 video. Not as good as the '09, but better than nothing.

Coccozella just uploaded a great set of the run....there's one chick in a few of the pictures wearing a brown hat (nothing but a brown hat) and she is awesome, to say the least.

Over at Coccozellas, a second set of run pics have been posted by Tarzan and they are much better than the first set. The big chested girl gets lots of full frontal exposure, and there are other girls too. I'd have to say this is one of the better daylight naked run sets I've seen. Klondike

I agree. I hope Tarzan has more.

I hate coccozella, monopolising every damn bush pic on earth. I wont pay their exorbidant prices!

I think that soon Flickr may surpass Coccozella in the number of public nudity pics it has in its archives. And its all free. Flickr is almost making Coccozella irrelevent, or at least looking a little silly for charging membership. Maybe thats why Cocco's works so hard on its site and came up with the photozella concept.

Can you post polar run flickr pics then old mate?

they would all be reposts here. If you want to see them, search either here or at Flickr for "polar bear run" or something like that.

It's showing up for me...

Maybe you need to log in?

Same

It shows private for me too

Klondike 04-26-2009 02:46 PM

Its OK for me. Fango and I are both probably logged in.

These pics are from Coccozella user Tarzan. Some enlarge well if you use the flickr tricker, but not all.

They do not have Coccozella copyrights, however, so probably OK to post. Crispus, I believe, also posted this link a month or so back.

That's odd, I can get through now (I was logged in both times).

Klondike: What is the "flickr tricker"? How do I use it?

I own a Mac and for me, you just control click (maybe right click for PC) on the thumb, then select "view image" (or whatever for PC, but the idea is to get the pic URL up in your browser). For example:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3432/...44932e5b_s.jpg

This is the pic URL for one of the pics in the Polar Bear gallery. You should just see the pic thumb (as is denoted by the "s" at the end before ".jpg") Now simply change the "s" to a "b" or "o" to get the full sized image. I try "b" first because its not as likely that an "o" will work. "o" sizes are larger than "b" sizes. Sometimes both "b" and "o" will work, and sometimes neither work.

Flanker7 and others have posted these instructions elsewhere and likely they are more specific for PC users. MAybe try a search if you cant get it to work because I don't own a PC.

For PC's right click on the thumbnail. Then left click on properties. Copy/Paste the Address for the thumbnail from the properties page: (URL) (ie: [url]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3465/3362061372_1ea3f93a33_s.jpg then change the _s to _b. Sometimes this won't work though (I was unsuccessful trying to expand other pics in this set) and you are stuck with the .gif image. Does anyone know of a way to convert .gif to .jpeg? I googled it, but the tools listed didn't seem to work for me.

I found out that sometimes it works also or only if you change _s to _o. If available, _o size is the original size and therefore often bigger than the _b size. ;)

Even if there isn't a larger version (the _b, or, occasionally and generally for older uploads, _o) available, you can always get the same size you see on the photostream page, ~500x375, by just removing the _s or _t. In the quoted example, finish with ...1ea3f93a33.jpg

crispus, by knowing only a filename, e.g. 3476613861_527349de13_o.jpg, is there anyway one can trace back to the set/account it came from?

Don't know if any others in the set won't enlarge other than the last two (the non-Mondrian-painted woman); assuming Klondike's right and they're okay to post, here are the others I got bigger sizes of...

Awesome. Great work. I love being able to compare, seeing how they are in "real life" and knowing that, for just one day (at least) they went a little crazy and ran around completely naked in public. And that "I've seen you naked!" feeling is great. :o:D

Also, hair in a ziploc bag: Why?

Thanks

Fango

Qwerty098 04-29-2009 11:26 AM

Here's the story:

I actually knew the first girl, (I'd seen her around campus) so with a little searching I found her on facebook.

The second took quite a bit of digging though. What I did was I went through the first girl's friend list (something like 700 friends), figuring that girls who run naked together would probably also be facebook friends.

My hunch paid off after two hours of clicking, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any of the others (yet).

I vaguely recognize some of the other runners, but don't know their names, which will make it harder to find them.

I'm still running down some leads though, so with any luck I might come across some more.

Re: the ziploc bag -- I'm pretty sure that's from scav hunt.

Good fucking work! I love the facebook adds. Nice one.
