REQ: This Year's naked mile

Hey. i dont know which forum to put this in. If anyone has pix from this year naked mile that u i believe university of Colorado does, that'd be awesome if they could post them. A female friend i grew up with, but never dated or anything is apparently running in it or has something to dow ith it based on her facebook info

Never heard of a Naked Mile at Colorado. Michigan used to have the Naked Mile in the Spring, but the last one was in 1999 or 2000. After all the video taping and groping of the females, and the huge crowds of spectators, the students gave up on being able to do it any more. Dartmouth may still have their Nude Olympics, but it was held in the stadium and closed off to spectators. If there is in fact something like that going on these days (hard to believe it could after Michigan's experience) let us know!

Well, you learn something new every day, and the OCC Forum is no exception. See the "nude Pumpkin run" thread.

You may be refering to Colorado State University's "Streak-a-palooza"? This is an event I hadn't heard of until this year. Flanker7 posted a vid from the 2008 run here:

https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...light=colorado

The quality is pretty good. With any luck, this is your run and your girl is featured. :)

Or, perhaps you ARE refering to Boulder's "Naked Pumpkin Run"?

Worth searching for...:)

Girls like that have to be careful how many people they tell they are going to run naked.

good luck -

Based on the fact you (and therefore probably she) called it the "naked mile" rather than the "pumpkin run," I'd guess you're referring to the "Nearly Naked Mile," a clothing fundraiser that just took place a couple of days ago at UC-Boulder.

Website is here: http://www.cuherd.com/2008/05/03/nea...lothing-drive/

Photo attached.

This would be cool to look at, since as your pic indicates some attractive girls participate in this, but it doesn't sound like there's any actual nudity.

i check the nearly naked mile vid at the link above later to see if she's in it. I'm getting the feeling this is gonna be like searchign for a needle in a haystack.

musicofthewhitebloodcell 11-02-2008 02:05 PM

I did not see her in the nearly naked mile vid that was at the bottom of the above link. I don't know which colorado state school she goes to now as she and I dont talk much and all it says on her Facebook page is "Colorado class of 2010".

If anyone finds anythign thatd be great. this is gonna be like finding a needle in a haystack though unless one of us knows someone at the Coloardo state schools who can look for her.

From the Denver Post 11/2: Annual Naked Pumpkin Run leads to ticketing > Boulder police ticketed about a dozen people running naked on the street while sporting freshly gutted pumpkins on their heads as part of an annual Halloween event.
The citations for indecent exposure Friday night came as dozens of other costumed revelers, including a man with a red cape and a sword, chanted to police officers to let go of the streakers and "find real criminals." The event known in Boulder as the Naked Pumpkin Run has been held for 10 years. This year it drew a huge crowd, prompting concern from police.

thanks for the info shortwave. i dont talk to her anymore so i dont know if she was ticketed. if anyone canfind pix fo video from this, that'd be amazing, cause it could be possible to recongize her body, considering her face is covered.

as an incentive here's another picture of her.

The Boulder pumpkin run is here.....
https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...t=39475&page=4

I guess you will have to use your imagination to guess if any of them is her. Shame on your (prudish) police force for giving them a ticket. I wonder if a new administration will start to be a little more 'liberal' in attitudes to nudity that border on being 'taliban-ish' in some states.

shortwave 11-03-2008 01:45 PM

As the article stated, it was the "huge crowd" that the police didn't want happening. If they discourage the nude runners from doing such, the crowd won't show up. Boulder is one of the most liberal cities/counties in the country, so I don't think that "prudish" is the issue.

Pedro the Fisherman 11-03-2008 01:53 PM

From the other (clothed) photos, this was an event at a shopping mall, the pumpkin runners were just a small part of this fancy dress 'run'. Still, I guess the US version of 'liberal' is slightly different to a european version:D
Never mind, students in europe tend to keep thier clothes on public, so I should not be complaining:)

In the US, there is always more of a chance the police will be at odds with the nudes than in Europe. But its not prudishness. It is probably more likely one of two things - a) a little veiled jealousy turned into anger or b) they actually would like the opportunity to physically handle naked women.

THe prudes may be the cops bosses, though - that IS likely too.

The Nude Olympics was Princeton, not Dartmouth, and hasn't been done since the late 90s.
