Fremont Solstice 2008 JUST IN!
 

Just got back from the Opening part of the Fremont Solstice Parade and I'm going to put up a few of my pics to give a preview before we really get some great pics in. Enjoy

More Pics..... I ran down to the end and got some better shots. The riders are very cool about the photog's A smile and a thank you will get them to pose again.

One last pic. I caught her out of the corner of my eye. If anybody snapped more of her I'd greatly appreciate it. HAPPY SOLSTICE INDEED!

These are stunning photos and the women are gorgeous, god bless the US of A (well the pacific NW liberals anyway:D) for allowing such a super event in broad daylight!! I need to lay down in a darkened room for a while now!!!

On second thoughts, I want to marry the carrot girl, she is SO CUTE, or the one with swirls, or any of them! they are so sweet and brave, hardly any panties in sight!!!!!!

Those last shots are the best I have seen of this event, with the possible exception of Klondikes 07 painting party, hopefully he was in the park too this afternoon!

I'm pretty sure Klondike was there. He PM'ed me saying he was going to be at the Gasworks for the end. But I agree the Ms. Carrot is cute, so is her Eggplant friend =) The Geishas may have been from the land of the rising sun. the spoke broken english but were cheerful nonetheless.

Thank you all for the praise. It was my first time photographing a event. Normally I have a video camera stuck in my eye. so today was a little weird.

If you have the time, could you give us an idea of the number of riders and ratios of male/female riders. Your wonderful pics make it look like 'babe heaven' from this side of the pond!

I would say 1 to 1 male to female. I was fairly selective in shooting. Having been to the parade three years running now, and a lover of the pics of the parade. There is a pretty good sized group of regular riders. I'd say close to 150-200 riders.

Holy cow!! Bjcojak, you hit the jackpot! I was going to put my pics in the other thread I started, but since this one is now going, it appears to be the "official" Fremont thread. So I will plunk mine down here too.

Man, this thread is off to a blazing start! The parade is only 3 hours old, and already we have top notch pics! I'm so happy you were there, bjcojak, and were able to help me out this year. Here's why:

My story - I almost got wiped out!! I arrived at the parade area a good hour before noon, but while looking for a parking space, accidently got on the hwy 99 on ramp and HOLY SHIT! - was suddenly headed over the bridge on a limited access road and out of the district. It took me 45 MINUTES to get turned around and, fighting traffic and all, arrive back at the parade area. By then, it was 11:45 - I had ZERO time left to park and get by fanny down to Gaswork Park. Luckily, I arrived within seconds of the arrival of the first group of bikers, but I was so out of breath, I could hardly hold my camera!

OK, so - I DID get pics, but they won't go up as fast as my friend's here did.

What a whilrwind little trip. It seemed over before it began. I was very tired and half the riders were dressed before I got my breath back.

But it looked like a good time for everyone else. Its hard to guage numbers, but turnout seemed pretty strong and I think the babe quality might have been a little higher this year, with numbers slightly lower. But it was all sort of a blur....:)

Like last year, I will put pics up in ones and twos at first. I'm not trying to tease anyone - its just how I work. :)

I'll start out with this wonderful asian girl and her friend - I was fortunate to get dozens of pics of them.

Wow. These are fucking great.

Three standout features so far:

1) The "freedom of choice" girl has painted nipple barbells, and visible pussy lips. Excellent pic.

2) The guy painted white behind the purple girl got a stiffy and it shows up by not being painted!

3) The two fleshier women who are painted skin color. Pure genius. Perhaps there's some "if you are painted, it's OK" rule in effect, and they gamed it... Either way, just perfect to paint yourself skin color.

check out the way she carries her left arm, = spooky
her glasses almost look a match too
and not to mention her whole physical appearance

More of the Torre "look-a-like" The more I look, I'm thinking its a twin of some kind.

OK, I am somewhat surprised, confused, angry, resigned, etc, etc but the thread must go on. Lets just continue to post pics (including pics of the Torre look a like) and let the gods sort this one out. I mean, I'd like to keep the thread positive and focused on this year. Obviously, we have a "problem", but lets not allow it to dominate this thread, OK?

This is not a complete surprise to me for various reasons which I can't really go into, but on the other hand, I sincerely wanted to believe. I think we all did.

The story is not finished yet, but I would like to spend my time mainly on this years pics. Meanwhile, I will "get over it" :)

While I respect Klondike's urge to keep this thread focused on this year (and so won't post photos to prove my claim), I would like to point out the appearance of several repeat riders; in particular, the carrot woman was one of the group Klondike dubbed "fab four" from '06, and the blue-sea-bubble-garnished-with-jellyfish is another of that same quartet.

...and in the same vein as the above, this woman is a multi-time rider; if you don't have ones of her from previous years, and would like them, I can PM them to you to keep from mixing years in the pictures here.

The Black Widow spider girl was popular last year and I have quite a few pics of her this time around.

Sadly, I missed carrot girl and her friends.

Yes, there were lots of repeat riders, but Torre was not suppose to be one of them....
