Flaming Lips at Sasquatch 2008
 

Cbee posted some awesome pics in the naked musicians/singers thread today, and I thought I'd move them into their own thread. The pics are from a Flaming Lips concert at Sasquatch 2008. This is one hell of an invasion of naked flesh on stage.

Cbee's pics were kind of small. I could repost them here or wait for someone to come up with higher res ones. Maybe I'll wait a day..... Meanwhile, here are some more pics in higher res (but Cbee's babes are hotter). The search is on. also check out this flickr gallery:

Sasquatch 2008 was held in Eastern Washington. Anyone that has ever been there I think would be surprised to know such things go on there!

I also tried to link to the website "www.sunboil.com" which appears as a copyright notice on the pics at the flickr gallery above. But the site did not come up.....

cbee posted this pic of some of the girls clothed. So I have a question - did these babes get recruited from the audience before the show? Are they just ordinary girls from eastern Washington?

It kind of looks that way (some are wearing backpacks here...). That makes these pics even cooler...

the pictures with the girl in the hat are actually from the Philadelphia show. the lead singer came up to the mic and said something along the lines of "we're gonna play a cover of a song. when i first heard it, i imagined that everyone listening would just take off all their clothes and start dancing." then the band launched into led zeppelin's "the song remains the same."

he's not the one who asked about it, one of the construction workers was asking for girls to dance around him for part of a song naked, and we volunteered. he just talked to us about what exactly we were going to do.

One of the Sasquatch girls has put up some pre-dance photos.

It seems from these shots that they were recruited by the band and handed backstage passes, marked 'Dancer'. The guys wear the 'teletubby' suits, the girls 'birthday' suits....seems fair!

The poster of the vid shot the vid from the side of the stage--on stage, but off to the side. He says it was his wife and their friends dancing. In this vid, not every woman goes bottomless.

I could have sworn that Miley Cyrus and the Flaming Lips had announced they were going to do a nude concert. That might have been right before the COVID outbreak, though.

that was years before covid, and as far as I know, they haven’t mentioned it since. my assumption is they said it on a whim then realized it would be a logistical nightmare. would’ve been very cool though.
