right now hard to stay up and search let alone post
so i really appreciate when someone takes the time to say thanks
just real weak right now
lost 52 lbs in the last 9 months
and17 lbs since my surgery on the 11th of this month
dr said i was one tough guy yesterday
first thing he said he walked in the room
had the surgery on the 11th at 8 am
walked out of icu and came home on the twelth at 10 pm
i love this board so much i had to get something posted even if it wasn't much
sad life huh

Hey now, take it easy Mcp, I'm sure we'd all rather live with a few less posts and a healthier Mcp, than have you pushing yourself too hard and staying under the weather.

The board will stick around for you, take some time and relax, and recoup. You'll be no less appreciated when you return.

MCP I had no idea of what you have been going through. My thoughts are with you. I too eagerly open your posts whenever I see them on the board. You have such a keen eye for the things I like. Thank you for all you do. I know what you mean about this board. In some ways I'm closer to some of the people here than I am with members of my own family and I have never even met you guys!!! You have friends here without a doubt. Get well soon!

i just don't have much of a life except the computer and tv
because of health problems
and you all just showed why this board is special and means so much to me
i am essiantly in the house 24/7 when te tempature is low like it has been

Hello mate. If it's any consolation I can relate to what you've been through/going through. This time two years ago I was in my local hospital, recovering from a ruptured oesophagus. I spent 7 1/2 weeks in hospital, 6 1/2 of which I was nil by mouth, twelve days in ICU, eight of which I was in a coma. I lost about 6 stone (84lbs) and the surgeon who operated on me would later tell me that I should have died and that I am her "walking miracle."

Now a days I'm fitter and stronger than ever, I view it as a major turning point in my life.

I guess what I'm trying to say is Just hang in there mate. I hope your future prospects are rosy and I'm thinking about you. :cool:
