Wow, great selection osreb. Except for "Music For Hangovers" I ain't seen any of them before.

There is a fantastic gallery of British sexy/cheesecake/cheesy LP covers at http://www.retrotrash.co.uk/ . I've been collecting these records since my late teens (they are, and on the whole still are, so unbelieveably cheap to buy) and have around 200+ of them, but this guy's (it's got to be a guy hasn't it?) collection frankly puts mine to shame.

As I don't own a scanner I've decided to post a few items from this site that actualy exist in my collection. Enjoy...

Brings back memories of my youth. Back in the fifties, I used to flip through record bins looking for album covers like this. Nudity was hard to find back then.

It's a sad commentary when 40 years ago you could go to your local record store and buy albums with artwork like these and today if there were so much as a areola showing, people would have a coronary about it!

BTW, there use to be the original Scorpions "Virgin Killer" and "Lovedrive" albums. They both had what today would be considered obscene artwork. Too bad there was no such thing as a scanner back then! Anyone? :confused:

No way I'm posting "Virgin Killer", I mean that girl's 11 years old if she's a day. That cover must have looked wrong even 30 odd years ago. As far as I'm concerned unlike other famous covers featuring topless/naked underage girls, such as "Cut" by the Slits, "See Jungle..." by Bow Wow Wow or "Blind Faith" by Blind Faith (which I would love to post here as it is simply so odd), it has no artistic or aesthetic value, it was just done for a cheap bit attention grabbing shock value.

Here's a great ENF cover I remember from my local public library when I was a kid. This scan is awful and I couldn't find a better one. I don't actually own it so I can't do better myself but I thought a few of you would appreciate the whole spirit of the thing.

How times have changed!
Listening to some talkshow on the radio years ago, the subject was trivia and for memory they were talking about an album cover of either The Beatles or a member who made a solo album.

After getting permission from the parents, they persuaded a 12-14 yr girl to pose topless for thier album cover, but only after a pony was promised in return. They only released a certain amount before they had second thoughts.

That's the Blind Faith LP mentioned by jc666. They were (according to music journalist cliche) the first "super group" and featured Eric Clapton, Steve Windwood, Ginger Baker and someone out of Family. I've heard the pony story as well, though I remember reading an interview with the photographer who said the young girl was featured because her 16 year old sister changed her mind out at the last minute so her little sister (with parents concent) volunteered to take her place.

Anyway, here's my reason for posting here. Having discovered this thread I went searching through my LPs for something to add and came up with this. It's a damb good samba compilation, though volume 4 (dedicated entirly to the music of Tom Ze) is the best in the series. It's possibly my favourite sexy LP cover ever, shame I can't find a scan that does the full glossy 12inch x 12inch LP jacket justice...

The release of the album provoked controversy because the cover featured a topless pubescent girl, holding in her hands a hood ornament from a 1957 Oldsmobile, which some perceived as phallic. The U.S. record company issued it with an alternate cover which showed a photograph of the band on the front.

The cover art was created by photographer Bob Seidemann, a personal friend and former flatmate of Clapton's who is primarily known for his photos of Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead. In the mid-1990s, in an advertising circular intended to help sell lithographic reprints of the famous album cover, he explained his thinking behind the image.

Seidemann wrote that he approached a girl reported to be 14 years old on the London Tube about modeling for the cover, and eventually met with her parents, but that she proved too old for the effect he wanted. Instead, the model he used was her younger sister, who was reported to be 11 years old. Her modeling fee, according to Seidemann, was "a young horse" purchased for her by band manager Robert Stigwood

Album from the mid 90s, with Gina G naked, covered in chocolate!

"Fresh" by Gina G. God, that was an awful CD (paid £2 in Our Price sale back around 2000). I like fluffy pop music as much as the next man but that album made B*Witched's first effort sound like Pink Floyd's "the Wall".

Here's a nice Rudy Ray Moore LP cover and one of his CDs. I got 3 of his records and am surprised nobody has thought to post more of them...

Ressurecting this thread after spotting a post about this singer by Pedro the Fishernan in the Naked Musicians thread.

I'm suprised I've never thought to post this before as it was the first ever LP I ever bought (I was 14) simply because it had a naked woman on the cover, the 1980 British/European edition of Lydia Lunch's "Queen of Siam" (the USA edition, and the most recent UK CD:( have a differant non-nude cover):
