I think Spence Tunick likes to torture his subjects a little by making them get up at 4AM or asking them to walk on glaciers. Or maybe he just like to photograph goosebumped people, i don't know...

Ahh, what is art, after all? :) If naked muffs are art, then he's killing two birds with one stone :)

If you've ever seen an interview with Spencer Tunick, you probably noted that he seems highly unlikely to be swayed by muff.

But I ain't complainin.

and Spence was there to capture it all......so sad, but so naked.....

If you mean hes gay then dismiss that he has a girlfriend and anyone would know if they watched either naked us or naked world.

His missus has a great bush.

I've done the Spencer thing twice now, and he is definitely a fan of the female form. He usually has one section of the shoot for particular groups, and while he has done couples only and men only, it seems like he has done women-only photographs more often (although this could just be because those are the ones circulated more on the internet).

However I have seen him proposing one-on-one shoots with various individuals at the afterparties, again I may be doing him a disservice but the ones I witnessed were all directed at rather cute youthful ladies! I wouldn't criticise him for that though; he is both an artist and a man!

I love his work, and he's very accessible to talk to, but he's not a great fan of the "Spencer groupies" who turn up at shoot after shoot - he gets annoyed when he recognises faces in the pictures, and always asks previous participants to stand at the back!

I saw a doco some time ago where he travelled across europe and parts of asia.
For various reasons when he was unable to attract any groups he had to make do with individual shots, and approx half of these he approached were guys.
I'm not impling anything by it...other than he appears to be a true artist with no favour to any particular sex

I just think he likes getting people naked and being respected for it.

It's not art. It's shit.

But great for the perverts.
