Japanese ENF(s) Movie clip
 

I came across this clip while I was looking for some new movies by Go Nagai, the artist that drew the nude superheroine comic "Kekko Kamen." There are apparently some new Kekko Kamen live action movies being released, but so far none have really caught my interest.

But I discovered this clip from another new film called "Go Nagai's World - Maboroshi Panty vs. Henchin Pokoider." The first part of the movie is about a young superheroine similar to Kekko Kamen, and it's set at a mythical school like the Sparta Gakuen in the Kekko Kamen series. This clip is from immediately after the opening credits - apparently the student body is having severe problems with uniform malfunction.

This clip is in the Xvid codec, which is available from http://www.free-codecs.com if you don't have it and can't play the file. If you have a fast connection, download one of the K-Lite codec packs from the site and you'll be able to play pretty much anything.

Great clip but is there any reason that the sound isn't properly synched?

I installed the Xvid Codec but that didn't fix it.

I'm not sure what would cause that - it's OK on my system. A lot of these files use MP3 compression with a variable bit rate for their audio track, so if your audio codecs are off that could be causing it. Checking the file out with the Gspot utility from the free-codecs.com site should let you know if you need an updated audio codec or something.

I just checked the clip again, and the sound is badly out of sync - just pushed the wrong button in VirtualDub. This version should be better. Feel free to delete the old version from the forum.

BTW, any Japanese-speaking members out there? I'd like to try to subtitle some of these clips, but I'm not that good at transcribing what I hear. If I could see some of the dialogue written out, I could figure it out more easily.

No problem! I was hoping you'd be able to make it available. It's released by a company called Oscar in Japan (the same one that filmed the 2 "Maicchingu Machiko-Sensei" videos at your site). I think there is a Canadian place on the web that sells import CDs and movies that can get it as well.

If you're able to get it, is it OK if I post a few more short clips over the next few days? There's quite a lot of good scenes, so I think I can get some interest in the movie without giving the whole thing away.

Here's another scene from the movie - the two girls from the previous scene have gone to the campus police office to report a complaint, but for reasons that will become obvious they don't want to be examined for evidence by the two male officers on duty. Fortunately, the chief's daughter (played by Miki Komori) is passing by the room and they consent to being examined by her, despite no doubt having reservations about the completely unconvincing wig she's wearing :)

This is another clip featuring Miki Komori - in the scenes leading up to this one, she has received a cell phone text message from a group calling itself "E.R.O." claiming responsibility for the two girls who were stripped in the first scene. In the next scene, she sees a new student in one of her classes named "Bin Furuya" - who has a certain resemblance to a former Saudi Arabian citizen that makes occasional appearances on Al-Jazeera. But in this movie, Bin is described as an "erorist."

Miki's character (called Tsutsumi Fuji in this movie) later notices "Master Bin" hanging around the halls after classes have finished up , and decides to follow him discreetly. She's not particularly successful at this - you can hear her shoes clattering on the tile floors as she follows him, and presumably Bin can as well. Eventually Bin enters an empty classroom and Tsutsumi sneaks in after him. But Bin has been aware of her and calls out to let her know.

If I've translated this right, Bin's line is something like "You're getting hot, Miss Fuji - here, let me cool you down." And the final scene serves as a warning to those of us who would underestimate our foes in the war on ero-rism.

Background Trivia: Miki Komori is a former champion floor exercise gymnast in Japan. Which would explain why she has such an un-f***ing-believably toned body.

Thanks for your interest, Hikaru! I don't know of any other movies like this exactly, but there are two good movies of the old "Maicchingu Machiko-Sensei" comic produced by the same company that are pretty good.

By the way, since your screen name is "Hikaru", would you possibly know Japanese? I would like to find someone that could help me try to translate movies like this one. If you do speak Japanese as a first language...

Go find MPLAYER its shareware you can download vids then just drag and drop. Works great.

This is another clip of Miki Komori, who appeared in clip #3. This clip is actually out of sequence, because it appears before the opening credits in the movie. But in the chronology it should actually come after #3.

In clip #3, Miki has just been stripped by "Bin Furuya" and run off. So as a result she's thinking about ways to fight against E.R.O. without being stripped again. In another superheroine movie, the heroine might think about wearing armour or biker leathers or something. But fortunately in this one, the obvious answer is that she can't be stripped if she isn't wearing clothes. Great decision!

This is great stuff, I'll be first in line to pick this vid up from Nanpa when he gets it in.

Note to Nanpa: Don't delay, man! Let us know the day you get it in!

bigjake is right, i think. i use mplayer on unix systems all the time and it's as good a cross-format and multi-codec player as i've used on any operating system. it's played every single video i've seen on this site. if it's available for os x then i'll be real happy!

Trouble viewing vids properly
 

Hey everyone...i've been trying to view all the videos in this thread and i cant get them to play properly. They have audio and visual, but the video is extremely choppy....to the point where it only shows a few frames then skips several seconds then a few more frames. Never encountered this before, and it only seems to happen with these videos. If anyone can give me some advice asto how to correct this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting these vids anyway! These are def some of the best ENAsian clips i have ever seen and i would love to be able to view them properly.....i looked for some eye candy to attach to this post but i got nothin worthy of this thread...soon though!
