this may sound strange...
 

i know we are usually complaining about leechers and people not posting things but i have a rather different problem. when i come to the site and see a page and a half of threads by the same poster it discourages me from posting because i feel anything i might put up will be buried. i'm certainly not complaining about quality or singling anyone out here because lately there's been a lot of really good stuff posted. it's just as i said i don't want my poor contribution to be lost in the flood. all in all, i guess it's a good problem to have (an embarrassment of riches, as it were) but i wonder if other people maybe think the same way and if maybe we wouldn't serve ourselves and the board a little better by pacing ourselves and maybe spacing our posts a little. just a thought. what do you guys think?

some times i go a cpl of months without posting
and everything builds up then i just seem to flood it out
but the other truth is i can find enough pics in the next cpl hours surfing
to flood the board all up again
i am coming to the end of a round
if someone starts a thread i'm glad to add to it
when i start a thread i usually go back 4 to 5 pages to see if a similar thread is already started
but if people want i can save what i find to myself
just have fun posting that's all

still have 1800+ pics from the first round to post
have another 2500+ plus sorted for the next round
and only halfway thru sorting pics i downloaded in jan
how do i pace myself

maybe keep all the same type of pictures to a single thread
like what i have been doing im working off of 2 threads sucking and assorted amatuers that i have posted a ton to

because i had been a frequent poster recently i did not dare to express anything similar like you wrote. but i feel exactly the same as you and i thank you for your question. maybe it would be helpful to ask posters to assemble related pics into less threads.

My 2 cents:

Mcp's postings have all been great, IMO. At the same time, I can certainly understand where other posters are coming from when they say they feel intimidated by a huge flood of posts. I think we can definitely come to a compromise here. I think that consolidation of posts would be a good idea, for all involved. For example, mcp's current threads like "girls waiting in bed", "girls in the bathroom", "girls in the living room", "girls in the bedroom", etc. could all hypothetically be consolidated into one "Girls at Home" thread. And so on, for the other threads. With the thousands and thousands of pics mcp says he has left to post, it sounds like he will be posting for a long time to come, so we need to come to some kind of consensus so everybody is happy.

i have come to not enjoying posting 250 or more pics in a thread
i try to make it small and sensitive to one subject matter
everybody likes to take pictures of ams in the bedroom
the group before this had 500 pics in the bedroom
thats why i tried to break it up
the alternative i am thinking hurts the viewers more than me
i can be more selective in what i post
half of them i don't even care for but then i'm only posting for me
what about the ones who don't like the same type of girl i do
and i won't discuss how others post so we won't go there
one of our rights on here has been to post what and how we want
as long as it is in the forum rules
if i intimadate people by posting too much

whoa now- i didn't mean to stir up a hornet's nest here. and mcp, i definitely didn't mean to insult you in any way. i didn't even mention any particular names. your posts are good and i am glad that your health has improved and you are able to join us again. i was just spouting this idea off the top of my head and i think others might feel the same way so i thought i'd ask. please accept my apologies if i offended you in any way at all. i'd certainly rather see you post five pages worth of threads than nothing at all. just do me a favor and consider what might be said in this thread and of course you and everyone else are free to post any way they want within the rules. and by the way, i always appreciate it when you add to my threads. thanks for all the great contributions. still friends?

not upset at you
happens everytime i post much for a while
but as you can see if you look at my post history
post like crazy for a month then take 2 or 3 off with hardly anything
got my unsorted pics down to about 4 months worth that i downloaded
when i can get caught up i want to try and stay current
it's hard with sources i have tho
spent 2 hours at a site and downloaded 600+ pics
90% which can be posted here some are complete sets of partials i found here
so what to do i think i will be more selective in what i post
and try to keep others posters in mind
i have the utmost respect for you and your posts granddad
i am sure no matter how many posts go up they will not go unappreciated
a lot ofnewbies drive me crazy post three pics or 2 pics
go down the whole first page and find nothuing but 1 and 2 picture posts
not upset about anything granddad and please do post

I take on board the point you are making mcp1275, but there is no limit on how many pictures a member can or can't post here on the forum weither it's 1 or 1000.

We are all equally valued member's here irrespective of our joining date or post count.

It especially bother me a bit when many of the pics in the "flood" are reposts. I prefer "quality than quantity." That being said, I think this the best board there is, because of the quality of management and the contributors (mcp, fango, klondike, brolla, etc) and I hope this does not change. Reposts are hard, especially when you have +1000 pics as MCP mentioned.

a: i will continue to post as i have
b: i will try to be more selective in my posts including reposts
i get aggravated when i post a pic that has been posted days before
it is hard to do in a lot of mixed categories like beach pics and flash pics
i try to only post those that are not familiar to me
c: if no one wishes to comment on a thread i will figure there is no interest in that thread
and therefore quit posting 100 pics no one cares about
d: i will try to space them out more but that just gives me time to find more stuff to post
e: if you have quality posts they will stay close to the top
f: if they are good posts and someone is interested in them they will find
them anyway and may bring them back to the top
g i believe something was beieng done to search by individual pic
don't know if this would matter cause i have found the same pic with four or five differrent
names and sometimes i repost them in the same thread

I'm usually concerned about people that don't post enough than those that post too much. Inaction on the board frusturates me, so having mcp1275's posts to look forward to lately has been nice. Having said that, the suggestions are all good. mcp1275 is one of the most consciencious and respectful posters here, (not to mention the quality of his work which is consistantly high). But like grandad, there have been a few times in the past, usually concerning less consciencious posters, that I've had some concerns about monopolies on the board.

I notice Brolla always seems to try to post in established threads, and he always adds on to his own Booty thread. But that booty thread is so large, it's almost in need of subthreads. Actually, mcp's latest offerings on the whole have been nicely presented and divided up, making the pics easy to get to. Guys, he's a posting machine right now, and maybe we're just going to have to accept that for a little while longer. Maybe some zips might come in handy for high volume topics. There are going to be reposts, but thats at an acceptable level. So maybe eliminate single pic posts and consolidate on topics whenever possible - that might help. And keep communicating! Tell him what you like, what you've seen, etc - that will help him organize and present his stash to our benefit.

okay, let's make sure we get something straight here. i want to make ABSOLUTELY certain that no one thinks i was denigrating or disrespecting mcp or his wonderful material. i too look forward to seeing his material. my ONLY point is that maybe we all (myself included), if we actually have thousands of pics ready to post, release them in a little more controlled manner and not feel obligated to get them all on the board at once. when any one member (ANY one member, not just mcp) has more than a page's worth of threads at once i simply feel that now is not the time for me to post. that may be right or wrong, but it IS the first thing i think of. i was simply wondering if anyone else felt the same. lord, i'm starting to regret starting this whole thing.
So nce again, FOR THE RECORD, i LOVE what mcp posts and look forward to seeing his material on a regular basis. on the other hand, if i were to post everything i currently have in my "posting" folder at one time there literally wouldn't be room for anyone else, i too have thousands of pics and quite a few vids ready to go.
anyway, as i think i said before, this is REALLY a good problem to have and probably one that most boards would kill for- we have LOTS of great posters with LOTS of material and they're all dying to share it with all of us. all in all, pretty teriffic, huh?
