Hi guys,

Caught the banned YouTube site in the free sites section and tried using SnagIt to capture them. Save you uploading to Rapidshare. See what you think.

Why not just download the flv file using the link they provide and then view with vlc? This then does away with the scrollbar on the display that is still there with SnagIt. flv's can then be added to a zip and posted here.

because not everyone has or wants the software to view flv- i happen to prefer the control i get with media player (brightness settings, etc) and appreciate it very much when someone converts these files to share. thank you

But surely screen capture is the worst way of doing it?

Here's my converted version of the clip:
  • Better frame rate
  • Smaller file size
  • Better image quality
  • No player-bar overlay

btw, this was done using the excellent, free, SUPER video converter.

Now that is a million times better. I would, and maybe others, be very grateful of instructions (or a link) for how you converted that. I have tried converting flv's using SUPER before but ended up with no sound. I have a lot of flv's that it would be great to have converted so any help would be appreciated :D

flv 's can be quckly and easily converted via any number of free programs available out there

partimescrewup 01-24-2007 07:55 PM

Does anyone know if there is a site that can do this with deleted photobucket pictures?

iSquint will convert to H.264 encoded MP4 - but that may cause problems for some PC users.

Try FFmpegX - it converts between most major formats.

The reason I asked how the conversion had been made using SUPER.

I have now got this working great using SUPER - I had an older revision and after downloading the latest release it works perfectly :)
