hello! I am starting to take pictures of my friends and am thinking of starting a website, i need opinions on how my pictures are and if the girl is good looking. i guess my real question is "Would you pay money to see more of this girl?"

The girl is cute enough...the photography sucks.......

Pics of girls with worn, dirty soles to their shoes are BAD! Makes the girl look cheap.....
Girls with their knees pointing straight at the camera make their knees look HUGE and are unattractive.
NEVER take pics aiming down at any girl who is standing.....unless you're a skilled photographer.....otherwise you make her look short with short dumpy legs....

You asked for honesty....... I certainly wouldn't pay to look at the girl...cute as she is, there's just too much free stuff out there....and I sure wouldn't pay to look at your current style of photography...read/look at some good books on portrait/nude photography and look at styles of established photographers....if you intend to enter the world of naked lady photography....it's already saturated and you need to be EXCELLENT to stand a chance of making it.

I wouldn't pay money to see any girl naked, but she is cute enough that I'm sure some people would pay. I wouldn't start counting your millions just yet though. The most important thing with these girls websites, like katesplayground, ann-angel, etc. is that none of them are original. Sure the girls are hot, but very lame as far as originality goes, in my opinion.

If I had to guess, I would say FTV and the Bangbros sites are among the tops in money makers for the material they have. Just a guess though.

Good Luck, you'll prolly make a few bucks, IF she is willing to go the extra mile.

Oh, and I agree, the photography definetly needs work.

The short answer is "no".

The long answer is: Think about what the market out there is like. I would only pay for exceptionally rare or exceptionally hi Q pics. Although this girl is cute, so are half the babes at OCC for free. And the size of your pics could be bigger. But mainly, an awful lot more attention and creativity needs to be directed towards lighting, set design, cropping, etc, as well as towards developing your own personal "stamp" or style. The third pic, with the girls back to the camera, is an idea worth developing. The lighting is interesting. The crop, however, is kind of tight. Anyway, if you want to know what type of babe photography I would pay to see, check out crazybabes.com. Now were talking! Or for close ups, the Ishotmyself school of photography would be one worth emulating. Otherwise, take huge pics for starters. Then follow that with lots of unposed, action pics (give the babes something to do, in otherwords). Take the girls outdoors and include several in each pic. Check out coccozella's "Photozella" pics for more ideas. The photozella concept is cool. Or Ralph Vulis, who also likes to shoot muliple babes in interesting outdoor setting. There are sites worth paying for, but in today's market, they really have to be exceptional. So I'm just giving you some ideas of what i would pay to see. It certainly hasn't all been done yet. Hang around here long enough to find out what kinds of pics members really dig and are also very rare. Then offer us ten times the number of those pics that we could find in a weeks worth of surfing. If you have to, "unlearn" any photo techniques you may have picked up so as to make your pics look like a "friends shooting friends" type pic. Then I'd start figiting my wallet. So good luck! And come back when you can offer me huge pics of ten babes picnicing in their backyard w/watermelon seed fights, or Abby Winters type girls, or huge pics of babes with bods like the one below, or........or..........and then join a serious photography site (like photosig) to have 'em critiqued by pros to sharpen your skills.......and THEN......maybe THEN........MAYBE.......you will have me as a paying customer!!!

BTW - I wouldn't necessarily say that pics of babes with worn out dirty soles is bad (with the right girl and set), but otherwise, follow others advice here too...:)

Thank you to all who gave me your input. I know the photography is really shitty, it is my first time :D I am taking each and every suggestion and implementing it in ways i can. Mike230, i take no criticism as flaming, i really appreciate all the very good input you had to give. Klondike, the pictures are much larger when i take them. I can take up to 3072x2304, but that is just overkill and for a website i would have to scale them down anyways. i take my pictures at 1600x1200 right now and i just shrunk them for this forum. Attached is a picture of full size. Again thank you guys for your input, it will help me a lot.

I will post some more from my next shoot with some pointers from you guys :P

The girl featured is very nice. Some nudity would make these images more interesting.

There are way too many women out there who give it away for free.
You may want to consider Ebay or something of the like to sell hard copies, or cds. They must sell, they are always there.
Having said that, I would love to see more of her too!

Porn, like any other product, must abide by the rules of marketing. If you seriously want to make a business out of this, then I suggest you take a Marketing 101 class or at least borrow a book on Marketing from your local library, or you will probably not see a ROI for even the web hosting fees. At the moment I see a "me-too" product in a saturated and mature market. If you are going to charge money, you need to offer something truly unique -- a niche. Yes, the girl is cute, but how are you going to distinguish yourself from all the other web sites out there? What fetish are you catering too? How are potential customers going to know you exist? Good, effective, advertising is expensive! These are things that go into a business plan. There are also the legal ramifications of opening an adult web site. I wouldn't do anything without a bullet-proof user agreement and model consent form that a lawyer has looked over. Lawyers aren't cheap! Having a contract proofed might cost you $2000, but it's worth it to keep yourself out of trouble. I'm not trying to be a downer on your idea, but these are probably issues that you haven't considered. Good luck.

Just to add to my last post, you might want to start by registering your site with one of the adult pass networks like Adult Check (http://www.adultcheck.com). They will probably take care of a lot of things for you, like advertising. This doesn't mean you shouldn't do your homework, but it's probably a good place to start. There will most likely be some sort of contract or agreement, but once your site gets popular enough (if it does), then you can consider going at it alone. At least then you'll know whether there's an audience for your product or not.

My partner is doing all the business side of it and has already looked into advertising, lawyers, hosting ect.. we know how much we are gonna have to spend to start this baby up. :D thanks for your input though, i appreciate it greatly.

Sounds good. Most people think that if they can just find a girl who is willing to take off her clothes for the camera, then the money will roll right in. Too many people open businesses without a plan, but you seem to be doing your market research, which means you're on the right track. The only other thing that I can suggest is that you get a trial membership for some of the sites that you think are prosperous and make a note of how they do things... especially the camera work, poses, props, etc. A trial membership at 18eighteen.com, for example, will run you about $4.95 for a few days of access -- they are probably the most successful magazine in the 18-19 year old model niche. AbbyWinters.com also has fabulous content! As does FTV. One thing to note about these, and most, successful sites is that the girls are willing to do more hardcore acts i.e. dildos, fingering, etc. Unless the girls are amazingly hot, softcore porn (Playboy style) probably won't cut it. I would strongly recommend that you find a fetish that you like (it's important that you like what you are producing) and that you feel others will like... and cater to it. Hopefully your models are open and comfortable with these areas. And hey, don't hesitate to post some more samples for us on here! ;)

I should add that I have purchased tons of adult memberships in my time, and I was always unsatisfied with the quality and quantity... I suppose the overall content... of about 95% of the sites. Most pay sites couldn't hold a candle to OneClickChicks.com, and, because of this, I never plan on joining a pay site again. Besides, you can find lots of pay content for free on Limewire or by using torrents. I'd say the only sites that stand out in my mind are the ones I listed above... that and Denio and AmazingTy can do some freaky things with a speculum!!! :D

i actually did some research of the top sites in the field im shooting for, and the top site which was next door nikki had close to 20+ million views a day. crazy. And yes we are doing our research for this badboy and yes i have trial memberships to most of the non nude sites to get ideas on camera angles and pictures and such. :D

And that was my point about FTV and katesplayground. I fogot to mention Nikki. The thing is, they are well estasblished, and no offense, but nikki is a whole lot hotter than what you've shown us. Of course that's just my opinion, but the point is, and this is where I agree with pointbreakboy, you need to figure out a niche. Some fetish that the girl or girls like and are willing to do. This is what I meant in my earlier post about going the extra mile.

It sounds as if you are doing your homework, but maybe if you offered up something to us like what you plan on doing on the site, other than just naked poses and masturbation vids, we may be able to give some more positive feedback on it. I just don't see what you've shown or told us adding up to Nikki or Kate like hits.
