request: UCSC naked run PICS
 

Ok, folks. I'm dying here. Judging from the vids Fango posted from the UCSC naked run, this year's turnout was enormous. But I have not seen any pics yet. The ones from previous years have been great.

So, can ANYONE produce any pics from this years event for me? This is a challenge and to anyone that comes through (with nice high res pics, that is - no stills from the vids (no offense, Fango, but I'm a pic man foremost)), you can pretty much name your prize :)

Just dying of thirst for a little "first rain". Fango's vids only "wet" my appetite. Again, we are talking about the University of California at Santa Cruz's "first rain" naked run :)

Yes, those are indeed good pics and you, tbhulluh, are my hero! Now about that award I promised...mmmm.....I'll have to think about it. I still have some unpublished original pics from WNBR in Seattle.....

OK, but I'm not done....yet. Since I could not find these on my own, I have to know how you found them. That way, in the future, rather than make requests like this, I can just go out and grab them. PM me if you want, or share it with the group. I don't care. But I want to improve my search skills, and maybe others would like to too.

And now more of my two cents worth: We, folks, are living in the golden age of internet porn, RIGHT NOW. EVERYONE (whether they like to admit it or not) collects pics. Some are easy to find, some are not. Twenty years down the road, we will all have enormous collections and will become quite jaded with 99.999% of it. So what's it all mean? - It means that a huge market is being created right now for hard to find pics like the ones tbhullah just unearthed. In other words, they are obtaining real value now that the collector's base has been established. Consider that OCC is a lot like a market trading goods. Pics aren't sold here, but you can get a sense for one's value by how well it is received by an experienced collector. I know, they can be duplicated and reposted as long as they are not copyrighted (which lowers their "value"), but you get the point I'm trying to make? The point is, for example, that if I were to sit on my unpublished WNBR pics for ten years, I'll bet I could sell them for a decent price to a collector. Everyone sitting on unpublished nudity pics (there were thousands of cameras flashing away at the Fremont Parade in Seattle) are like folks that have stashed away coins in jars. Notice how I was offering a "reward" to anyone who could find me pics of "first rain". Does this sound like an offer to buy? You bet!

So whats the REAL point in all this? I DON"T KNOW! MAYBE I'M JUST RAMBLING! But seriously.....:).......there is unquestionably a market for adult pics, and today they fall into two categories - those that are easily available on the internet, and those that are either not published on the net or are impossible to find. Its the pics in the later group I'm talking about, because their rarity factor climbs exponentially as all the other pics get duplicated ad nauseum. And with increased rarity comes increased value. Just ask any economist talking head. There are a lot of other requests i could make for pics. Campus nudity is a rich mine to be tapped. But while I do not intend to go so far as to hire students to take pics for OCC, my other option is to spend an eternity tracking down these pics myself. So, thats all I've got to say. We have seen original pics from the U. of Vermont naked bike ride posted here at OCC. Maybe there is a need for a website devoted to bringing more of these unpublished pics to the surface, with suitable incentives offered....

I meant to add that I do not want these events trashed a la naked mile. Also, I respect the participants right to some privacy. Its a difficult line to walk and if one were to talk about offering "incentives" to get more people to take pics - well, I don't really want to go there. Sorry....Just trying to bring pics to the surface that have already been taken is OK. But forget the incentives part, as that could get me in trouble...

I was confused 'cause i thought you wrote "floppy disks" and i couldn't figure out why you'd be cropping pics and making them smaller for people that DON'T store pics on floppy disks. Or something like that....

keep it handy and check it often. The annual "first rain" naked run can't be too far away. "Second rain" is no good, so you need to know not only what is going to happen weather wise, but what has already happened.

Great find... as always thanks for sharing... hopefully we will start seeing some pics emerging soon... let's hope for the best. I am already missing 2 of my long time favorites (Skidmore frisbee team and ballon dance) for this year...

If Skidmore did their nude pics this year, they didn't post them anywhere that I could find them, or they didn't post them at all. I think they might have finally gotten wise to the fact that people outside of the team were enjoying the pics. :o And now their website is gone, replaced with a blog. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted...
