More riders and other pics from the Fremont Parade in Seattle. I'll probably post the last set tomorrow, and it should be a good one.

I love the last two pics (first set) where the photographer is making bikers ride around him just so he can get his close-ups. I would have laughed if he had gotten beaned. Pretty brazen - didn't see any other photogs doing that :)

Its easy to remember when it is. Its the Fremont Summer Solstice. Think summer solstice - first day of summer, longest day of the year....June 21st. Thats what its all about :)

Great link - thats one I missed. Flickr has so many groups for the Fremont Parade...

If people aren't impressed yet with this event, those flickr pics ought to convince everyone that this is a major happening out here. Overall, the pics I've seen so far for 2006 are incredible compared to previous years. Anyone can see that there was a major babe turnout too, and I counted over 75 different babes on bikes in my photos alone.

I knew where the pre-parade painting party was, but figured it was off limits to photographers. Flickr has more than a couple galleries from there, so a privilaged few got in at least and got to photograph some unpainted nudes.

Been searching flickr for a couple years now and I always struggle to figure out how to avoid cluttering OCC with too many reposts. It occurs to me that I might have a fair amount of early pics that aren't as common. I'll try to do better about getting them up here.

I'm not at all sure this woman is from 2006 but she's a particular fave. Anybody got info or more on her?

Looks like Portland is first up....I'm hoping for a lot of photogs, that way they won't know who to shooo away....:)

they will assemble in a new area this year - haven't cased it out yet but its in NW Portland I think.
